Question is the title. Back in the day Mongoose was the enchant to have for a 19 rog twink. Is that still the case or did it get nerfed?
Also a second rogue question. Which gem plays best for each rog build
+3 agi
+2 agi & +2 crit strike
+2 agi & +2 haste

Not sure on the Mongoose enchant, should still work, maybe it's just not as good as in the past ?
I prefer ele force on both weaps or +3 dmg/ele force on off hand
Some people go with Dancing Steel, on 1 or both weaps.
I go main stat +3 gems on all my toons, I wanna hit as hard as possible.
Crit has diminishing returns, I try to get around 30 percent in BGs, so 33 percent or so in the PvE/outside BG world.
Hard to stack enough haste at 20 to really make a difference, imo, others may/will differ.
I play Assi rogue exclusively tho.
Maybe haste is good on Outlaw or Sub if you can run one or more of the haste proc weapons like :

However, I'd still go main stat gems and use the weapon procs for my haste.

The only toon that haste seems to be worth it for is a caster druid with the cast speed meta gem and a haste proc trink.
I've cut 2 or 3/10's of a second off Starfire and Wrath casts depending on what trinks I use.
