So, those of you that have access to MoP Beta.

I'm very curious, even more so that nobody has addressed this in any manner to my knowledge.
I've heard of rumors even, that have stated these would possibly be fixed, so i want to know.


The NPC's otherwise known as Defias Conjurer, are they still removed within the game in and around Deadmines?

Those drop Staff of Conjuring which was always an interesting item to me. Or dropped rather.

Also, the Anguished Highborne used to drop Formula: Enchant Weapon - Icy Chill on a rare occasion. Sadly, it can not be obtained either. Regardless of the fact that the NPC's still remain in its same location.

Someone should go farm the formula and see if it drops. :p

I know there are way more issues with NPC's and drops, but these listed above are related to 15-19's.

Those that would theorycraft probably just don't have the beta or just haven't got around to it yet.
 
ATM the patch that came today on the beta makes us crash every 10 sec or so, so it's unplayable atm. Can maybe check if they fix the wow error spam.

Personally I do not have beta in working condition. But I would like to know how this formula is in MoP Beta. I personally have 0 use for it since my enchanter has it, but I do know that the mob that this is intended to drop from had its level dropped from 57 to 54 resulting in a Shadowfang-like scenario which is the same as Tarantula Silk Sash, Talon of Valtros and many more objects. This is how the item works on live blizz servers today. Dev is actually working on an alternate source for it's dropping.

Can I ask where you heard these rumors? Was it from a blue post, or just people discussing it elsewhere?

Regardless, it would be cool to see some items get their shit together and show up more often.

What about Tarantula Silk Sash? The NPC is still there, etc.

I do have a Staff of Conjuring unbound still, got it for 33g a few months ago - Shit is pretty cool

i think when MOP goes to PTR status, that's when you will get more solid info. as of now not all the changes have been made yet or applied in beta
