The quest has been updated. No longer sharable and no longer giving reward options. On my disc they offered only the cloak. I saw the boots on a hunter. They were mail. Gonna run the quest chain and see what a rogue can get.

The suckage continues.

I saw a pair of mail boots on a level 20 hunter in Auberdine that I believe are a new reward from that quest. They were blue and called silver something. Not sure if the leather boots still exist. It's going to take me a while to complete the quest chain because I'll be gathering up a glowing cat figurine along the way if they haven't been GFed.

I guess I'm confused. The Wowhead link you provided to the Quest shows nothing different from before. The Silver Embossed Boots on my 10 Hunter that I got only ~2 months ago are still Leather.

The quest has definitely changed. My Disc 10 was not offered the choices on the outdated Wowhead page. Just the cloak.

IIRC, this is normal as of 7.0. I want to say that Blizz changed the way Quest rewards work in that ONLY what's available in that Quest for YOUR Class is what you get to chose from, but don't quote me on that.

The pet dropped on my 2nd kill. I finished the quest line and it gave my rogue only the leather boots. So yeah, one class specific item. Sucks that it's not sharable any longer.
