Hey there twinks, Tenin here with another koala tea post, Just wanting to issue a bit of a challenge to see what is possible on a 101-102 Demon Hunter. This is not meant to see who has BIS gear.
On my 101 Demon Hunter i have achieved 186% movement speed Unbuffed in Havoc, I'm not yet fully mastery geared or finished gearing towards my goal of 200% run speed.
Has anyone been able to top this or have any insight on how to top it? forgotten items, Gems, enchants..ect..
Im currently using Minor Run speed on ilvl 600 boots and 2% speed to cloak.
I also have 3 835 epics with speed+ stat

there are a few on use mastery trinkets from cata i believe that are kinda op. my buddy has a full mastery set @ 110 he uses for prepulling and he uses it. i'll see if i can find it
 
Try and get the Chest with Speed as high iLvL as you can, this will help with the hidden DR bullshit Blizz stuck us with when 7.0 landed. 3x 835's probably are giving you a combined total of less than a single ~870 or so Chest with Speed due to how DR works. Outside of that I'd just work on spamming as many World Epics with Sockets having the +160 Mastery Gem and look for a Wod Mastery Trinket (HFC?).

Also, keep running Skyreach for a pair of Boots with Speed on them. Enchant them with Minor Speed BEFORE upgrading them to 2/2. This will boost you another 2% (maybe nothing after DR though) but it's worth trying at least.

Old Helm Metas with Speed no longer stack with anything else so that's out. Old Set Bonuses with Speed no longer work (unless you can find a TBC Dungeon Set with it, those haven't been Nerfed, yet). There's nothing else I can think of that's for Movement Speed unf.

wouldnt rocket boots with minor speed enchant be bis for speed? dont think there are any boots on par unless they procd speed (which they still might not be as fast)
 
Correction, 2 peices of speed gear, i use multiple boots, working on getting mastery pair. my trinkets are
+284 mastery [Gift Of Radiance] and +351 mastery [Prophecy Tarot] - Rare
kazzak trinket may be useful but.. RNG </3

Working on Replacing my 835s with speed+ if possible, i know speed DR's heavily after the first 2 peices.. buut 1-2% makes a difference at this point.
 
I've also taken an interest in this - it is more of a side project though, as my Shaman/Boomkin twink get more of the lovin' of the 3.

For my DPS DH though, I did snag the 250k ring from DAL for the mastery stack w/ the other mastery ring - so far 175% is what I can reach (176% with food).

I've started collecting run speed gear too. Still missing a lot and i don't have any +speed items.

Sitting at 181% Movement Speed at the moment.
211% /w Blur
331% /w Nitro Boosts
943% /w Fel Rush (it's always the same speed no matter what gear you are wearing ^^)

Need to farm more gold so i can buy some of the missing items. Should be able to hit 220-230% passive movement speed.

The problem you will find, thanks to Blizz's ninja Movement Speed nerf in 7.0, is that 'Speed' won't net you much in comparison to Mastery for Havoc DH. DR since 7.0 hits after 110% Movement Speed, but doesn't count the 10% Minor Speed for Boots or the 2% for WoD Cloak. That means technically, with Speed alone, DR starts at 122%. I have all Plate/off pc 835+ with Speed on it plus the Boots and Cloak and could only manage ~133% on my 101 DK.

I know that there is some type of DR but im trying to figure out the formula. Same goes for mastery too. The more mastery you have, the less movement increase will kick in.

1108 Mastery Rating = 16% Movement Speed (69,25 Rating = 1%)
5137 Mastery Rating = 49% Movement Speed (104,84 Rating = 1%)
6100 Mastery Rating = 56% Movement Speed (108,93 Rating = 1%)
8153 Mastery Rating = 73% Movement Speed (111,69 Rating = 1%)

Unfortunately I'm not subbed at the moment, I will be resubbing this week. I recall I was 102 on my DH(I went veng first) no Dal 250k ring. Somewhere around 180% passive.
Grats on almost 200%! I'm glad to see others find this interesting too. I'll try to add to your post but my 102 level could skew results
