They were in the same room as the first boss, Rhakh'Zor.

were they standalone mobs (meaning they didn't spawn with the boss)? did they aggro with the boss? where were they- on the sides of the boss? in front of the boss? guarding the entrance to the room, like the 2 ogres are right now? were they found elsewhere in the dungeon? if so, can you remember where? every little detail helps a ton right now.

There is a comment on the mob's wowhead page about their locations prior to cataclysm. If you're really desperate, you can check a private server for the locations, although the scripting may not be entirely accurate in accordance with the original blizzard servers.

To my memory, they were stood on each side of the boss in the small nooks. They didn't aggro along with the boss.

Yeah, this is correct. They were stealthed, as I recall.

Outrageously and shamelessly necroing thread.
Talked to a GM, Defias Rapier and other Defias armour (save legs and gloves) are gone.

But you already knew that.

Its gfed because the npc that dropped it is removed from the game, that means u cant obtain it but the item isnt gfd anyways u cant get it anymore sad it would be an awesome mog
