Concerns regarding Twink Cup + Gearing

Whilst reading the replies I realized two things. One being some of you are toxic for no reason, was just expressing some concerns from the viewpoint of the games I seen yesterday.

The other thing being that yea gear probably doesn’t matter too much, I was really basing my concerns around the 70 agility hunter scope proc.

I too have quite a few twinks with old, nlo stuff and I can understand why some of you guys were quick to defend keeping the gear. My b.

Someone mentioned that maybe instead of the gear/enchant rules, there be a spec/class stacking rule. Which obviously has been implemented in the past and should still be for this next TC.

Also I’ll read up on the past gear/spec restrictions that was linked earlier in this thread

Really? What makes it disgusting in your opinion? I'd figure it's a great tool for burst kills and hard swaps. Ele force for more consistent dps over burst?

Well he has to build around the scope so to speak. Ele force is much more reliable to be built into a plan rather than around it.

That's true but I feel like it procs enough to where you don't have to stress that hard about having damage lined up.

I don't have any specific gf'd gear on NA. I would still defend their right to use it.
Aslong as it doesn't involve manipulating a gm/ getting deleveled.
If it was available at a certain point for ALL 19s to have access to it should be allowed.
*Flintlockes was also disgusting at lvl 19 in WoD and was allowed. I defend it 100% Should be allowed.

I believe that only GF'd enchants were banned back in WoD or something? Like you were allowed all the GF'd gear pieces, but shit like naxx shoulders and 13 SP was banned.

Maybe just go by same consensus and see how it pans out in some practice games?

The proc despite being 70 agi doesnt even give them gamebreaking damage, as stabilt mentioned it would be way more op to have ele force on ur wep than what the scope actually is.

ur all a little bit stupid... you're discussing this shit for a tournament, it would obviously be best to have everyone have equal gear so that there are no issues there. it should be the same for everyone in a tournament setting, that way you dont get dumb fucks saying they lost because of gear etc, the better team will win and everyone except the losers can be happy, no?

You do know they wear the same gear in the NFL right? Skill and experience are the only attributes allowed to differentiate teams.

OP is clearly a non factor that can’t win without creating a meta that allows them to.

The game either allows it or doesn’t. As long you aren’t exploiting (things that can get you banned like flying above the bg or going to unreachable places), you do what you want. Don’t like non factors like this create the game they want. Play how you want and make people like this actually adapt and win.

When was the actual last legitimate TC that wasn’t tainted with controversy and had a lot of teams?
Has there ever even been one?....

You are correct. If people go back to pure “restricted sets” we could be back to 7.x style gameplay.

This same discussion always reads it’s ugly head. It’s the “haves vs the have nots”. People are just have to come to terms with that they are not going to have everything that everyone else has access to.

It's the higher level satchel drops at ilvl 35, 45 and 55.
