It's fantastic at 39, proc'ing at least double the listed rate. Two weeks ago I broke my personal record with four hunter pets and three players all napping at the same time. But that's a very, very extreme example.

With that said, it causes a noticeable stat hit at 39, even with the vers on the Green Whelp Armor. I don't know if I'd be willing to try it at 49, even with the nerf to the Green Dragonscale set.

I really wanted it to be a worthwhile option at both 49 and 59 (I found a 13stam/15int version near the start of the expansion for my 59), but given how much int both brackets stack, the quest cloak ends up being a little bit better.

Humm, now I'm confused. Your list of items only provides world BoE drops. Highborne giving 11i/s 5vers. So trading 2 int for 5 vers on cloak i linked. Tell me what im missing x)

That's a function of what BFA did to the lower and midbrackets. Other than the two Slither-Scale pieces (and even that's in question now), all BiS gear for resto shamans at 49s happens to be BoE. As soon as we reach the 59 bracket, gearing sources turn upside down, and most BiS gear comes from instances. It gets really bad when we enter the 70-79 bracket where BiS gems join the instance-running parade.

Exactly -- don't take 2 int over 5 vers. 2 int is worth 4 vers at most, and depending on buffs and stat prioritization, you could argue for 3 vers.

Ahh yes thank you. But you mention earlier "the quest cloak ends up being a little bit better." The source of highborne is world drop so which one is the quest cloak you are refering to here?

Shoot! I got that wrong. I was thinking of the Chain Link Towel, but the Highborne Cloak is likely better. I'll revisit that when I update the guide.

Oh ok ! I will try and get my hands on either anyway. Vers is nice for surviving all the damn furys on EU.

Updated the guide for 8.1. Bye bye Green Dragonscale and Slither-Scale. 49s became the sole bracket that leverages all BoEs for BiS (other than the shoulders).
