Most healing specs are beast with 188 mana. It gives you 1740 mana which is more than double the mana for any caster spec which uses mana. This effectively reduces mana cost of all spells by half.

It doesn't give increased amounts of mana for priests and monks, though.

I dont play healing spec of either class, i was not aware of this and did say "most" not "all" healing specs.

Monk healers are not even worth being mentioned in regards to the 20-24 bracket.
