Can i buy a X-fer to a inactive account?

Could i level build and farm my twink on my current paid account to have QOL features like AH, Trading, ETC. and then pay the $25 to transfer the character to an inactive wow account and then just unlock my xp?

Or would it lock me out of buying a transfer from WoW 1 to WoW 2 because it doesn't have game time? i know in the past i couldn't transfer lvl 21+'s to my active sub unless they both owned BFA and had a active sub.

Inactive vet accounts, yes. Pure f2p accounts? No.

As long as the WOW2 has had gametime at one point or another, you'll be able to xfer regardless of expansion status.

Unlock XP then transfer. Won't be able to unlock XP without game time.

Also make sure you have some other character in the guild you want to be in as the xfer /gkicks. If you don't have a character in the guild already you can't accept a ginv on your xferd one.

Ye but why would you? Its a great excuse for 1-3 days of free time. They will always give you gametime to buy a service.
