Brewmaster Monks

Once you get good at spamming the cc its a very viable cc class. The new mage for sure. In low level pvp so far, i have been playing brewmaster and you can actually lock down even a druid on O, and on D its OP as well. I find since the CC can be cast behind you and spammed any direction, that it helps to have your camera zoomed out past max, and you can see where to lead incoming dpsers. It pulls rogues and druids out of stealth. If you spam it right on yourself it will hit slightly behind you while you run. It really sucks that roll does nothing when debuffed, but at least the cc is definitely viable.

How would gearing look for a CC-monk?

Is there a macro that can make a Brewmaster's Dizzying Haze not have to be clicked down on the ground? Could you perhaps have it just be cast on the person you are targeting?

Well there is keg smash aswell, causes 2 chi, weakened blow (reduced melee) and Dizzying Haze. But its a melee Range Attack

Righto. I was just wondering if there was a macro so you wouldn't have to finger your keybind and then click it down on the ground with your mouse.

Without having played a monk or seen this ability yet, I can confidently say no. This falls into line with similiar spells like ring of frost or mass dispel. You need to select the zone where you are casting the spell, there is no target. However, a useful macro for these types of abilities uses an " ! " in front of the spell name so you can spam it without losing your targeting circle.

Dizzying Haze defaults like that.

How about dodge monk twinks?Anyone have a clue what's the obtainable dodge chance with monks?Including ring of defense and green dodge gloves belt etc.?

Stacking dodge rating is not very good. You'd be giving up too many other stats which a Brewmaster needs because he wears leather as opposed to mail.

Also once you're caught in a HoJ or Fists of Fury stun, all that dodge goes down the drain.

wtf painaid, desh.. u guys no play LoL anymore? and wtf happened to duxter?

Yeah we both still play LoL. Just into MoP launch atm.

Ehh guys, Brewmaster monks are slightly under par endgame wise (in regards to raiding), So expect to see a slight buff. might not affect 19's though :p
Source: I raid 5 days a week going for server first kills, and our Brewmaster monk is being bumraped so much that Josef Fritzl would be like, "guise, srsly this is stupid"
Hes BiS geared, and is sub-par with our warrior/my death knight tanking.
They might scale better with gear later on, but I'm not sure.
tl;dr Brewmaster monks feels underwhelming @ endgame so may get a buff that might affect 19.
Also, on a related note, I'll be twinking alot more once I bag those raid kills <3
