Survival is better imo, sometimes in BM I don't have enough burst to kill healers. Survival is also fun to derp around in, which is one of my favorite WoW past-times.
 
F2P elitism ? Far from it. Dorigon crawl back to your area of expertise, also known as the shit infested 19s. Imad? Nope. Nothing has changed with hunter since I last played it. So I do know what I am talking about.
 
People don't seem to understand just how much more burst explosive shot really gives you. The fact that it ticks over 3 seconds means that an SV does as much damage in 3 gcd's as BM does in 4. That means the difference between getting off that last flash heal.
 
I prefer bm since they are more annoying to deal with than sv imo. Ive made tons of repicks to save the game using intimidate, and kill command is broken beyond belief. If you want to max out on how annoying you can be, go bm. Hunters were designed to be the most obnoxious class, go take advantage of it.

It is debatable for sure. It depends on the instance I guess. With multiple healers using intim on one doesn't stop the others from healing him so in that case faster damage would be better. When there is only 1 or 2 healers intim can be nice. I play 3 healers as you can see in my sig and it takes a lot of burst damage or... some well timed stuns to kill me (especially on the druid). I find that neither has that great of an advantage in the grand scheme of things so everyone just needs to choose based on their play style. In some situations I would certainly miss intim but SV has its benefits too.
