Bleeding Hollow: Capital of the 19 Bracket

Over the past seven years, World of Warcraft has changed in a countless number of ways. One of the most noticeable differences for those who twink has been the evolution of battlegroups. Players were first spread out among fourteen different battlegroups when twinking first began. Once World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King was released, players were shocked to hear that battlegrounds granted experience. Soon after, players migrated to Ruin Battlegroup (US) in order to keep the bracket alive.

Many viewed this change as an inconvenience, but was beneficial for the community overall. Now that World of Warcraft: Cataclysm has been out for over a year, battlegroups have been merged making twinking more accessible than ever. With the implementation of wargames and real ID, Blizzard has created more ways of bridging the gap for player interaction. Yet while these features have helped us create a tighter community, we fail to see regular competitive Warsong Gulch matches.

We have pointed the finger at excessive damage and inadequate players for the state of our bracket. By promoting guild activity, there is a greater chance that games will become more balanced. Bleeding Hollow currently houses the top horde and alliance guilds making it the ideal server for anyone seeking activity and competition. Over the last six months, the server has thrived from the amount of players who have decided that Bleeding Hollow is the place to be.

The server carries with it an atmosphere that no other realm can match. Knowing that you can log on at any time of the day and expect to see a handful of talented players to queue battlegrounds with is one of the many perks with being on Bleeding Hollow. Excellence has become the standard here among guilds which produces players that will settle for nothing short of just that. With all the success and attention that Bleeding Hollow is receiving, it has become the capital of the 19 bracket. There is not a server that exists that offers what this one does.

It is up to you to choose if you want to succeed; Bleeding Hollow is going no where and will continue to grow in popularity. See you here soon!

Another great blog. Keep them coming!

disagree....BH is not 19 twink capital.

beau you were in a game monday, you were only BH player between both sides....what percent is that of 20?....exactly

you can log on at any time of the day and expect to see a handful of talented players to queue battlegrounds with is one of the many perks...really

Not a great feeling to admit it, but he's right - twinking has been monopolized down to one server, rendering most other servers near-obsolete.

For 85s Bleeding Hollow isn't half bad either, the server is considered one of the best for Word PVP with a close to 50/50 Horde/Alliance ratio as well as a number of top arena players have characters on the realm. With MoP coming up, and as Blizzard's latest announcement discussed, they will be shifting to focus more on World PvP which will make Bleeding Hollow not just a destination for 19 twinks, but for level 90s as well.

Good blog, very well typed. but in a case i have to agree with shank. LS is great example, they do not play on BH. but they are a very strong force when you play on them.

This sounds more like an advertisement to come to BH rather than a blog from a neutral point of view.

Edit: Very well written however, and makes some strong points.

There have been rumours that some members from <Same Score Different Day> on EU are rolling on BH US...!

Actually, all 19s should represent their home server. BH server is the single most detrimental thing for 19s that have ever happened. Anyone who queues up for games can see that.

Blogs are not supposed to be neutral unless you're reporting news or patch information. :p

A while ago I would of said that it was bad to move to BH, now I say why not? I'd be much more likely to play with friends (dueling, etc.) than if I was just playing alone on my server.

As long as there are a few guilds on each side I think everyone being on one server would be great.

This is from the Guy who attacks others for not rolling 29s on DMaw. Slightly hypocritical in my opinion and I smell troll. Maybe next time set your personal feelings aside and if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all.
Nice blog Beau, I have enjoyed your style of writing and POV. Keep doing you.
