depends what you classify as good for the bracket, if you would prefer a more scattered amout of shitty players or a congretaed amount of skilled players. for me its the latter but hey i guess i just prefer competitve gamesYou deny that there are ton of premades from BH queing and farming the opposition in terribly one sided games?

So you assume that everyone who doesn't xfer to BH or agree with your opinion or is casual is terrible? They are there now....and when they go away you won't have games unless you schedule them. Also wondering where these competitive games you speak of are. I rarely see them (inb4 you say its because I am terrible even though you have no idea which toons are mine and your entire opinion is based on the fact that I dissagree with you and am therefor a baddie).

you would be supried how high up there some twinks are, minowman who was a 29 twink came to 19 twinks, brought friends to 19s, is a 4 time gladiator and SMELDED neilyos kidney shot, there are A LOT of people like this in the 19 bracket who are high rated players @ end game, the kinda people we WANT for the bracket are people like this.
I never said people who dont play on BH are bad/casual i just said 99 % of the people who roll new twinks are absoloutely garbage and are even more damaging on the bracket. iv played around 6 games today and EVERY GAME both teams have capped, because the games featured GOOD players.

i have played @ 29 and those schedule games are actually fun, like i said earlier though we will never have to schedule games due to there always being 10+ twinks on each faction on bleeding hollow.

yes game farming happens because the opposing team isnt COMPETITVE, liek i said recruit enough COMPETITVE players (not keyboard turners) and we MIGHT have some good games

Every player starts out terrible. Excluding them because of this just means the good players of tomorrow won't be there when you need em.

It is possible that 19's are more competative than my impressions. I only play occasionally (focus mostly on 70's these days) but when I do que generally I am either getting farmed or farming the other team. No fun at all.

Competitive games have little to do with recruiting good players. 10 bad players vs 10 bad players is very competitive as is 10 elite vs 10 elite. Bad games come from one side outgearing, outclassing (aka 6 hunters), outskilling, etc the other. By definition the larger the population pool is the more this averages out and the more likely you are to have good games.

I agree 29's are fun....but 19's do not want to be 29's. 29's are 5/6 good players quitting from the grave.

1) If there were no presence of twinking on your realm, chances are you wouldn't have ever heard of it.
2) Every "competitive" player started out as a level 1 that probably wasn't epic to begin with. Getting randoms into twinking is a smart idea for the future... if the community gains a few thousand randoms, chances are in due time they will be decent if not better than decent as long as they practice.
3) Valuing competitive games between competitive players as more important than growth in the bracket is a self-damaging method which will result a horrible community with very, very low numbers.

At some point the pool of "competitive players" will run dry, creating a fixed number of players in the community. From there on (with your suggested method) there will be not a single player gained into the community. There will be a constant net loss of players in the community if we were to take your method to the 10th power.

If you take my method (encouraging growth of the number of players of all skill levels by putting our eggs in every basket we can as opposed to one single basket) to the 10th power the bracket would be exponentially larger, the players would be more competitive as a result of the large pool of players and it will constantly be growing and improving resulting in a self-sustaining and self-improving bracket.

Just my 2c, and please stop getting so frustrated at everyone's posts to the point where you cannot control your language.

How exactly do you know that your method will actually help the bracket at all. In all honesty its more likely to just dilute games with even more 900hp bads. More numbers does not mean more competition.

As people have said. The more people in the bracket the more likely to have games that are competitive simply because it averages out teams. Uncompetitive games aren't, and never have been caused by bads.

Hell I have played 19's since early BC and the most competitive games I have ever had where back when we were grouped with levels. While the worst were 39's I played about a year ago where both teams were 100% supposedly "pro" twinks.



Either way. Fact is fact. The BH way has no ability to grow the bracket and will eventually lead to oblivion simply because we would not be replacing the people who quit every year (normal turnover) simply because of how few people would be exposed to twinking and decide to try it out. The BH campaigners would like us to believe that their "pro"ness will attract all these people to join twinking which is total BS because no one outside of BH will even know they exist.

It'll be a nice break from my fighting game schedule

I'm not the best PvPr ever but I managed to get 2k~2.1k rating on every arena season I played, and I lost gladiator by 5 rating points in S4 so I think I can be somewhat skilled with a 19.
I played a 19 Warlock a loooooooonge time ago (like in BC) even made a couple movies. People tought I was not bad back then, so I'll do my best to become a good addition to the brackets.

My 19 still exists, farming that OH (the Furbolg Medicine Pouch) was a pain to get back then, too bad BoAs >>> that now. I was thinking in transfering him to BH but i don't have the BiS anymore (it was BiS on Burning Crusade time). The transfer would only help me because I have AGM on the char but I don't know... 30 bucks for AGM? nah...

Why don't you stay on your current server and get BoA's there, then? Warlock is an exercise in frustration without AGM - it not only hinders your survivability, but also your ability to play aggressively.

polite way of saying, don't make you twink on BH, until you gear up, get AGM, and then spend $$ to transfer

hi-pop servers whether loaded with twinks or not, can be extremely tough to get AGMs on

i say:
- stay where you are
- que/play where you are
- use real ID etc. to join others in BGs on other servers, people do that now
- hang out in most populated city on your realm, it actually helps twinking alot. people will notice you, inspect you, ask questions
