EU+US BIS Rogue weapons

got yesterday one Vibroblade.. ~40k <.<'

the Proc is nice but not sure about... if its worth to lose stats and the dmg per sec

While you're right in that wowhead scaling doesn't include actual bounds of the items in game, combatant claymore is not listed like that. If you hover over the "Scales with ilvl" - you'll see several listings of "Scales with ilvl". And no matter what you do with the slider, they don't actually scale the stats. This is wowhead's way of showing the different possible drops. So you can see several ilvl possibilities - 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, etc. They have required levels of ilvl - 8. So that ilvl 25 requires level 17. The ilvl 30 requires 22. The ilvl 35 requires 27. This follows the same pattern for all blue world drops. Now, the floor may be wrong just like the other scaling type, so there may be no way to get the ilvl 15 to drop in game. But wowhead is correct in the drops.

If you only see one "Scales with ilvl" and the slider bar pops up and actually works, then it will scale to the level of the person who it drops for. This happens for zone specific (vibroblade in gnomer, shadowfang drops in SFK only) and mob specific (talon of vultros only drops from vultros, gloves of the fang only drop from druids of the fang) items. And is sometimes limited by the zone scaling like you mentioned.

Indeed this is the case, why is it that these BIS items such as Combatant Claymore and Vibroblade are boe and so rare :/ such a grind to get them

OG lvl 24(ilvl29) I got them off ah, hmu with an offer

Not going to offer as it's the wrong realm but if you sell for a cheap price i'll buy them

According to the armor reduction it is 100% worth it. If you mouse over your armor ingame, 94 armor reduction shows an effective increase in damage of around 20-25%.

Is there anyone that has seen a vibroblade that was req lvl 29? (not item level, but req level).

It is possible to get a Vibroblade scaled on 29.

open world rare weapons in bfa drop at level "x"2 and "x"7 with an 8ilvl increase over their required level. open world rare armor drops in variant of "x"0 and "x"5.

I havent done extensive testing but I believe the lower level variant is one that drops in relation to your character level. So the person that got that twisted sabre was between 28 and 33. If the lower ilvl one isnt the default drop in relation to your level they were between 27 and 32. A level 26 character would get the lvl 22 twisted sabre and a level 33-34 character(depending on how it works) would get the lvl 32 version.

Similarly boe rares drop at 2ilvls higher in instances. So a level 29 got that vibroblade to drop in gnomer post patch. Any 29 twink can just spam run gnomer in the hopes for one. Grind is probably similar to the hated doomspike/rop grind f2p rogues went through(expect 400+ runs). <--- I wouldnt recommend this though, just buy my ilvl 29 vibroblades on BH :)

If youre curios go farm these guys until a boe rare drops :)
