I guess people don't take the Gulch that seriously. I would still take the patch over the shield for battlegrounds. Even in WSG, I play hard and I play to win. Having the best gear is just a part of that. Sacrificing stats to make yourself less squishy doesn't coincide with the properplaystyle of a Rsham. They aren't the optimal turret healers, so they shouldn't be geared that way. If you want to tank 3 people while healbotting your entire team you should just play a holy paladin.
Positioning, and playing with people who you can depend on to peel will solve that every time.

To all people that say take the shield:
There will come a day when you lose a game because you missed a spell and the fc got away with 10 hp left, or your totem pulse missed and your fc got dropped and you lost the game.
When you're a healer, total health isn't as important as it is on a non-healing class because you can heal.
Excelling as a healer comes from being able to keep your mates alive while also doing damage, which you need hit for.
Look, we get it. Noone wants to be called a crutcher. You're not crutching, you're twinking.
Now get out there and play like one.
What happens when the day comes that you lose the battle because that silly little rogue caught you in the flag room when your about to cap and since your lacking the extra armor/stats you die before you can get to the flag D:
but a silly rogue shouldnt kill you
I have heard rogues do alot damage to fc with 10 x stacks.
200 armor wont save you if you're an fc with ten stacks
