If it were illegal they would have made it so at the start. Blizzard have done this every expansion, yes unintentional, but not illegal till THEY deem it so. And that's the funny part, they NEVER posted anywhere, that it was illegal to obtain such items on low level characters.
There was never a sign saying bikes only... that's like a someone randomly picks a fight with you out on the street, you pull out a gun and he's like.... STAHHHP!!! knives only... >.>
You don't pick a street fight then expect people to fight with some imaginary rules you concocted in your head, that's why it's a street fight and not conformed sports.
Otherwise pvp with only white gear on and no enchants... that will test your so called elitist skills (following your logic)
There are people who are levelling through BG's (always have since vanilla) and they are nowhere near geared the way twinks are... for those who are passing through, it's a 'Bicycle Race' and your 'Motorcycles' are cheating... an Athlete on Roids isn't a deserving "Athlete" lmao... because at the end of the day, Twinks are motorcycles... in a bicycle race.

I twink heavily in this game, don't consider myself some Elitist but don't bs me by trying to conform twinking into what you have your understanding of what it is unto me. It has always been (since Vanilla) obtaining the most powerful gear you can use. Like I said, if Blizzard said ANYWHERE it was illegal... then damn... that'd be a first. It wasn't intentional, every expansion there has been some degree of non-intentional somewhere, and they will fix it

If you were truly looking at it in a competitive sense, you wouldn't que in normal and actually organise with other twinks for competitive matches. That is the closest to 'Level Playing Field' you'd get. The normals, the battlegrounds were intended for, are at a gear disadvantage. It's like competing against disabled people and calling yourself a champ, yet you aren't disabled by any means.
All this talk about skill, a twink beating on someone in whites and greens takes no skill at all. I could literally just right click and go eat breakfast and come back to my wrecking ball achievement.
