Best stats, haste or crit?

Ive seen that currently everyone seems to be running crit/vers. Why is this?

I totally understand that vers is great because its a straight damage increase/reduction but why are people running crit when its nerfed in pvp?

It just seems like a haste/verse meta would be so much better.

most classes that ive tried personally do. but i mostly play ranged maybe its just ranged

so let me clarify. why do balance druids run crit instead of haste?

you seem very hostile to my questions im just trying to get info on what stats are best. i havent twinked in two xpacs

roopz is the only one with a semi sort of haste build
The baked guy uses it cus' he thinks it's fun, the roopz guy has random gear and bumpi also has random gear. Either u run enough haste to get a 1.3 sec cast combined with versa or full versa.

ok ill try one more time, is there a character you can link me with the true BIS or a guide you can link me to the true BIS and stat priority list? it seems very hard to get back into the community because people are so resistant to helping

Answer is, it depends on the class/spec and playstyle. But basically...

Like you said, verse is a straight % increase and % damage reduction. It also affects ele force and hidden satyr procs.

Haste is good for casts (more casts), GCD (more instant casts), more dots. Over long periods of time, it makes a significant difference. Most casters go with haste.

Crit is nerfed to 150%dmg in pvp (instead of 200%). So that makes it less appealing. It still can be very strong, as key crits or chain crits can burst people down before healing gets in. Its also better if your time-on-target is limited (like 19 outlaw rogues, who usually have a short window after cheap shot in which to secure a kill before the enemy can heal/jump away/kite).

So to your specific question - 29 boomies are running crit because they either A) Are focusing on starsurge burst instead of rot or B) Prefer the excitement of big crits rather than being reliably solid damage. Or perhaps they just have random gear.

BiS is very variable. Generally the priority is Int > verse > haste > crit. But you can also have multiple sets for different situations. A glass cannon int/crit set for bursting down EFC with stacks out of stealth. A rot set for mid that has some stam/verse and lots of haste. A flag carry set with lots of stam/verse (and minor speed).

If u want to go full on bis then u should indeed have a balanced set, glass set (if enough heals/high stacks on efc), fc set like mentioned above. But for most situations I'd say a balanced set is best overall.

I have an arms warrior and a Ret with 40% Crit... really sucks ass.

It's fun to just randomly kill ANYBODY, but its still not great... as above its capped at 150% so, meh... not really that awesome. And with no haste it just feels like you are playing in slow motion.

For my warriors in sig

One is str > haste > verse

Other is verse = crit > str

I feel Stronger with haste but I don’t see a big difference numbers wise

I'd say crit is easier to stack since people start with a base 5% (7?)
My drood uses haste too but was thinking switching to vers
