Best Neck and Trinkets as Linked FTP Hunter

Hi all,
since i didn't found while reading the guides an accurate info on the topic, can you tell me which Neck is the best, and how to acquire, for a Linked Ftp(i can chromie time) MM hunter? Same on trinkets (atm i have Kliaa's Venomclaws and Scales of Gennadian).

For necks, there are two currently known “best” options.
1) Drak’Tharon Keep quest rewards a neck with agility, crit, and a socket. Probably easiest to acquire.
2) Req’d 19, ilvl 28 green BoE from Legion or BFA that has socket (or socket+tertiary) with heavy secondaries.

As for trinkets, the world is your oyster. You’ll want to customize these around your playstyle and preferred stats. Once you figure that out, we can help you narrow it down.

You'll want the Elekk Tusk from shadowmoon valley, huge mastery clickable that goes very well with aimed shot bursts.
Personally I roll with Gennadian and Tusk on my huntard. When they both line up.. Mmm

It's from a quest , also your can get "Chaos forged necklace" from violet hold legion .

i think Chaos Forged Necklace is a lot better. Mine is already better stats wise the the Choker of the Betrayer

i noticed Armored Elekk Tusk got internally nerfed...on the char sheet stats (so not as it's written on the item) now it gives a lower mastery buff than before

nope, still gives the same amount. the tooltip just reads different

worth noting: the socket bonuses from items that only have 1 socket don't work.
if stacking talasites for HP; a scaled-down https://www.wowhead.com/item=32508/necklace-of-the-deep?bonus=6827 would be better.

Look at your actual character screen and not the buff tooltip.

Mm burst is so high , I prefer to focus mobility.

Thats very surprising. Simulationcraft's spell query says it should have a PvP coefficient of 1 (i.e. no change) and it has full effect against the PvP target dummies. I guess we'll just have to actually test trinkets in battlegrounds until we understand whats going on here.

yea, this might be a thing where we gotta keep our own active list of "trinket procs at lvl 20 in instanced pvp" because its such a niche thing

that's what i noticed in bg.. now it gives less thank 40 mastery our armored elekk tusk, that's why in my noobines i went for kliaa's venomclaw+ scales of gennadian

btw lemme check...in Bg's if i remember correctly scales of gennadian and kliaa venomclaws give more stats than tooltip says
