EU+US Best DMG / Healer for f2p? Gear?

Hey guys..couple more questions.
Built priest, built hunter.

Helmets seem to be hard to come by..for priest, is it just level eng to make a tiger helm? Anything mail to look for?

Also, white items..do they still work? I've read ilvl counts on whites..And there's some white ilvl 30 rings to buy..also, for priest, white ilvl 40 offhand. I've seen in some bgs ppl have no rings..which makes me wonder if they're using the white 60s..but they aren't actually working? Or the 30s for that matter.

It'd be cool if we had a listing of the best f2p items per class..like that rogue helm trick.

I'm already finding myself topping dps in dungeons on my hunter without full gear, which is fun :p

Cloth has 3 options for head, flying tiger goggles, stonetalon mountain quests (alliance) reward for completing the chain (horde) and good ol LFH

What Goesid said for the helm. LFH is the hardest. Engineering goggles and the stonetalon mountain chain are lesser options.

Yes, white items still work. http://www.wowhead.com/item=7342/silver-piffeny-band?ilvl=30 can be bought for 10g in STV.

Not sure what the best offhand is...can F2P get furbolg medicine pouch (52)? Theres lots of fishing options depending on where you can get to and fish.

As to the best items per class, I think rogue is the only one with something unique. Theres a few special things for a certain armor type (like LFH, and engy goggles for cloth), but I can't really think of anything else.
 
Yes horde can do the Stonetalon questline, you can get the first breadcrumb quest from the warchief's command board in Orgrimmar. This is the full questline, and once you finish Might Makes Right ... Krom'gar General, you will have the ability to buy the best helmet and shoulder gear available to f2p players from the Krom'gar quartermaster in Stonetalon mountains. Yes f2p can get FMP but theres also the bouqet from herb vendor ilvl 60.
