Whats your IQ, i said in my opinion. Also that is your opinion im not saying your right or wrong.
Resto Shamans #1 for duels. My duel vs Maelstwom was so long and boring that we ended it on a draw an hour or so later. As any other spec (Enh/Ele) he obviously still wins but they're fairly close, but with the recent changes to Wind Shear there isn't the slightest chance of redemption

Ahh but why say in the previous post if you so do not belive to be the best. Because my understanding is, if a player that plays shamans isn't EXTREMELY good at it, they will lose pretty much all the time to GOOD priests and pallies in duels. I don't know who you been winning against in duels but they are definitely not the best players thats for sure.
Unless, you watch a certain shammy that is kickass in his/her duels witch i belive to be highley unlikey. No, i think that statement was made based on your own personal experiences in duels.
What i am implying is there are very few shammys that can win succesfully in priest/pally duels, from my own experiance only 1 shaman has done that and that is Dasfilla.
Unless you still belive the players you have beaten are good, if so fight me and i will prove you wrong.
So i ask you now, what do you have to say to that?

Das isn't very good, neither is nakedplumber. The best shaman by far is/was nini for cata. I guess purj might come next...I mean he isn't amazing but he's definitely got his head on tighter than das or plumber. Das isn't ABSOLUTE garbage, but he truly isn't anything special.

However, I did manage the win in our second and last duel. : )
@Sax- Err, after I got use to combat that first night or so, it didn't do much better than sub.

wow you definetly went down to combat more than sub and my record as combat is a lot better than my record as sub (dont talk about teh sub record please)
edit: im not saying my combat record is good im just saying its BETTER :3, and thanks to you im pretty sure theres VERY few disc priests who could take the combat sax anything lik you do

Heh, a bit more, yeah. I'd say you won 30% or so as combat, and...as sub, I wont mention : p
edit- You play a cata rogue very well Sax. I'm sure you make easy pickings of my priest brethren. However, a good holy priest should be able to beat you very conclusively, if specced as combat.

I respect you opinion, but i have dueled nini alot and i found it harder to beat das than nin's.I know you can't really compare since nini was ele and das was restro but thats just from my experiance.

Dueling, is absolutely irrelevant in such a bursty xpack. Even so, I'm speaking of overall player skill in general. Nini just has better situational awareness and class knowledge than either of the two.

This thread is about dueling, what else are we supposed to be talking about and in over overall skill i cannot make a comment for that.

I love dueling. Not only does it help you learn your class. It allows you to learn other classes str's and weakness'. You learn different techniques for closing gaps or creating ones, how to juke, or how to LoS. Dueling will teach you when to cc or heal when to kite or push forward.. without the pressure of losing a game. Then you can transfer that knowlage over to the battlefield and be a better player overall and a better contributor to your team. I encourage everyone to duel.. But please push yourself. Try dueling lvl 30's 40's or even some bad kid 50's lol. Noone likes to get facerolled by a 19 at lvl 23.. (Unless they duel you.. Then its fair game) XD
