Be Cautious When Making A Transaction

Now more than ever we are hearing stories of people getting scammed in WoW.

Be extra cautious of all transactions and please always cover your own behind.

Use common sense and be extra skeptical.

I remember a story of a member getting scammed for a Shadowfang. That day, I ended up picking up a Shadowfang from somebody for a TSS. As it turns out, that Shadowfang was supposed to go to someone else. I did not know until that member had came to me a few days later about how he got scammed by the member whom I acquired the SF from and how he never got his fang. Karma or not, you have only yourself to blame if you get scammed. It shouldn't be that way but if you put the burden of opportunity in someone else's hand and provide them with power, they will take advantage.

Best of luck, happy trading and selling and please be careful!

I've always wondered, what's TSS?

Now their supply is exponentially higher than it was in the past. You should be able to pick one up from your AH for between 800g - 2000g. It was GFd a long time ago and brought back as an uncommon drop from the salvage yard boxes from garrisons. At the peak of their demand I traded a few of mine away. I traded one for 2 30 day time cards, a defias rapier, and defias boots if I'm correct. As for the other one I swapped it for a Shadowfang when they were going for 100 dollars or roughly 125k per fang.

This thread reminds me of (although not WoW) when I was scammed out of 200$ for a TF2 hat.. that one hurt pretty bad. Needless to say I'm a lot more careful about steam trading. The point is getting scammed is never fun.
