Banned

Mods do not follow these. There are still jump guides and vids on this site which they do not see as exploiting enough to remove... lol

If you're going to quote a PM, you should show the whole thing.

Hello Leo.

First and foremost, I'd like to take the time to thank you for reporting content you feel deserves attention from the staff members. Every single report that we receive is investigated thoroughly and acted upon on a case-to-case basis. Normally, the moderation and discussion occurs in the shadows, and we don't take the time to explain what we have done to everyone reporting threads and posts. I felt like it was warranted in this case, however, because of the brand new CoC and how determined you seem to rid this forum of jump related guides. In the three reports we received from you recently, we decided against moderation of the threads, because we do not deem the jumps featured exploitative enough to warrant removal. While certain jumps can be classified as exploits, they would have to be grave for us to take action, and I'd like to ask that you take this into account next time you consider reporting a thread on those grounds. I hope that this message is not construed as hostile, because we really do appreciate people who take the time to report threads, as it makes it easier for us to respond to misconduct. Hopefully I communicated our stance in a way that does not deter you from reporting threads in the future.

Sincerely,
Chap

As I specifically mentioned, we deal with reports on a case-to-case basis, which means we might not always agree with whomever submitted the report. There is a line, even for jumps, and if any of you feel like this has been crossed anywhere, then feel free to submit a report and we'll look it over. We simply cannot read every post in every thread, and as such, it's immensely helpful to receive reports rather than complaints on the forum.

we tried so hard, and got so far

but in the end it doesn't even matter

Thotfc how many warnings did they give you? or was it just out of the blue?

Ya this is a goodbye thread. Trial killer your a savage and I love you for that bro =) you will be missed

I got banned for botting not 3rd party, I turned on honor buddy while I was sleeping the night before and was banned for that I never used 3rd party things except for the last bg we played. Botted once and fly hacked one time and 24 hours later I woke up and I was banned not really too worried about it I could make another 20 and still play and not even pay. The amount of guilds that would fund me is insane I just don't see an intrest in it anymore. Since horde is one sided and everyone on my btag is already quitting cause of horde dominance I might as well too shits wack af

Third party software refers to software programs developed by companies other than the operating system developer. It may also refer to third party plug-ins, which are developed by other companies besides the original application developer.

So you're saying blizzard developed and licensed honor buddy for use on world of warcraft? You're fucking stupid m8.

Never had any problems with you Thot, so have fun irl and maybe see you on a f2p.

He's displaying sites with services that as far as I know are against the ToS via his favorites bar with this image, has made numerous videos displaying his jump macroes and has talked about 3rd party software more often than should be allowed. All on TwinkInfo.

He's not even the first person to do it and get away with it as far as I've seen, the moderation on this site is seriously lacking.

What websites are those?

INSANE!! He says!! INSANE!!! So insane he had to bot for honor while sleeping for 24 hours. That is one long a$$ nap.

Think about that one for a second...
Maybe the only reason they were "good" was because they were cheating. This bracket has lots of "cheaters". It has for a long long time. Be it good or bad.

I think he's a decent player even when he isn't jumping or taking the flag off the map, so he must just be doing it for shiggles.
Yeah....lots of cheaters and hackers, maybe because of the f2p / minimal time investment...since longer than f2p was a thing.

what?
Then you did get banned for hacking NOT botting

Accounts that bot don't get terminated anymore, they get suspended, most commonly for 6 months. Don't correlate this to the ban wave either, this happens quite often.

If you were banned for botting before AMAZINGLY you'd still be suspended but with more time
"Apparently, if you were caught in the first six-month banwave, the penalty this time is eighteen months."

What is the reason for this? You have a higher chance of not botting again if you only get suspended....
Lets make a logical scenario, if you got permaed for botting you'd make another acc and bot on that to make gold on a clean account...eventually that account will also be botting.
Opposing to "oh shit I get my account back, I need to be more careful now"
Blizzard even said this on one of their posts, ill search later, they did research on this and suspension benefits them more than terminating accounts (finance wise of course)

You either used a hack that was pretty easy to catch or you used it to obviously and got reported.

You're wrong. Accounts that BOT DO get terminated. It all depens of many factors, one of those factors is "luck".

"luck" is never a factor
blizzard would probably terminate an account for botting but only in serious cases, an this case I am right
he pretty much even admitted in his own words that it was hacks that got him banned, rarely do I hear of people getting banned by botting

I got caught running my fishbot while in a technical support chat once. The GM and I just laughed about it, and I got told not to do it again.
/shrug

TI should not ban someone for what they do outside of TI. Unless he breaks CoC, there isn't anything a mod can do.

He has a ddos program bookmarked in his screenshot.

You may not be aware of this, but ddos-ing is a federal crime in the United States, under The Computer Fraud and Abuse Act.

Afaik, this site operates from an American server, and so would be subject to american laws with regards to cybercrime. Allowing known ddosers to continue to use this site to network with other ddosers could lead to the site operators themselves being seen as accomplices.

I'd suggest it's in the TI owners' best interests to divest themselves of cyber-criminals.
