So I'm building a rogue with a high base Attack Power and fairly large Crit Build. No I wont sacrifice precious stats for small amounts more of attack power (example: Armor of the fang, etc) He currently scales up to 709 base attack power (unbuffed) in BGs and the 47% crit scales to 41% crit.
I also don't like to rely on procs such as Dancing steel or Mongoose because they aren't consistent and do not guarantee a large ambush. Id rather crit large for each ambush than rely on a proc->restealth->ambush to get the jump on an fc/enemy. Yes dancing steel hits hard, but the initial ambush wont and that small second is what determines weather a druid or hunter will escape my reach.
Im fairly comfortable with my current attack power/crit build as I tend to consistently hit 1.6-1.9k crits given that 41% crit chance. Over 2k given the circumstance/squishiness of enemy.
As for Professions, I have engineering for Parachute cloak (useful for damage build and LM jumps in AB), and will eventually be working on alchemy for 14 agility potions or whatever it has to offer. I will also farm Swiftness potions too !
It was a tough choice between alchemy or the 9 base crit from skinning, but the more burst from alchemy makes me want to go down that path.
It's still a wip and I plan on getting Ring of precision (hopefully) or another Signet of Argas through Faction change. Then maybe change back since undead are badass. Also 19 ap for bracers (just haven't gotten around to them yet) and AGM (if anyone has the courtesy of helping me realm hop).
