Assassin's Blade and Talon of Vultros

wow, nice. i have an assassin's blade sitting on my rogue, always wonder if it would ever gain use again

Yeah lol I had a few that I thought would never come in use again. But after messing around on the PTR for a few days. Those will no doubt be BiS after next patch. Finally perfected what the new build is going to look like. Though, there will be a variety of builds.. im excited about this one.

Mutilate takes daggers. You really want to use these under assassination spec. However, you can insta proc your weps using lifeblood.. then switch to maybe duel fangs with elemental force. Idk I dont want to give away too many secrets just yet. But if you decide to go assassination spec like most will.. these will be BiS

Did i tell you all this ifeel i did. Elemental force will be bis btw. Hit will be the most useful. Stat for rogues btw

Ive had 7 people say they want it and 7 people come up short, as in are not on right now to buy it. First come first serve.. I'm trying to xfer servers asap so lets go people!

Doesn't really make sense to stack hit / expertist / rely on procs for damage, knowing how "mobile" rogues are in this bracket... Just stack AP/agi and rely on your opener burst, as that is pretty much all a rogue has in MoP.

In other words, it doesn't really matter if you had 500dps after getting a couple procs + slice and dice, when you get peeled from every opponent 2 seconds after leaving stealth.

Speculation speculation speculation. Give some screenshots, calculations or it's nothing but theory. Let's see what is what a week before 5.4 goes live.

Forgive me for asking. I'm still a noob when it comes to this sort of thing, but why not just use two assassin's blades? It has more agility/hit/dps then the Talon of Vultros.

Me and curley were testing all this the more hit the better talon and ass blade will be bis for ass. sub and ass atm on ptr and hand in hand, i feel like ass will be slightly better, sub is also still very strong if not slightly better its all down to Personal preference subs burst will be silly can see people 1 shoting with ambush but there will not be a single BiS any more its all gonna be down to personal preference and play style.

i cant see elemental force being BiS if mongoose procs for 90 agi + 22 haste= with dualwield that is 380 ap + SHITLOADS of crit/dodge + also the effect of the lifeblood now, oh and btw, lifeblood will give 90 haste instead of 55

I don't understand how AB is bis if it has the same stats, I'd much rather use loom dagger for off hand. And talon of vultros was always BiS so nothing has changed there.

Mongoose and those other procs wont be bis because rogues have little time on target. The ele force proc is guaranteeded burst while those procs rely too much on rng. AB will be bis along with talon because they give highest muts and give the most hit and procs. I'd only switch to dancing steel when i'd have alot of tot. Dancing steel can proc off lb and dots. Id switch to them when I run away to resteatlh for the proc. Only use dancing steel for lb and what i said. Ellos band will be is as well as those daggers and cobrahns boots and boa chest and boa shoulders etc. hit > all. Mongoose can't proc off spells like lb or arcane torrent etc so I would never use unless I knew I would sit on a target for ages.

I would consider EF for assass spec, but mongoose will far outperform it in sub.
