Artifact weapons and ilvl ?

Have somebody run you though strath (the part you cant que for) and get runeblade of baron rivendare. It is just as good as an i34 artifact relic with a speed bonus. Destiny is honestly not that great... the proc is low.

Just understand that with your twink if there is an i49 warrior with you in the BG, you are gonna feel terrible, because they are gonna do about 33%-50% more than you just by pressing the same buttons.
The part about proc is false. The proc is insane and is up a lot. Way higher uptime then crusader. I tested dual wield with 2 destiny alot.

hey you know that is a unique combo that I never thought of... I’ll have to try it. Thanks...

I’ll let you know how many BRD runs it took
I lucked out and got it first run on my f2p, but I have GFd relics on her, so I cant tell you how it compares to regular artifact. My vet has non GF'd fury artifact though, so he'll be my test mule whenever i get lucky on him.

It's a little unique, that's all I'm after. I'll run something like it, maybe swap out the ironfoe.

edit- i liked Kam's idea back there, i might just steal that instead. We'll see. ;)

Yeah, proc weapons in general are on the weaker side (I'd like to see a video of your destiny proc, IME its about once per minute... not worth giving up stats on another weapon, esp if you have an i49).

Even then, the level 34 artifact weapons are still better than hoping to get procs. There are too many slows and stuns to even use most procs effectively, especially ones that only buff damage over time like IF/BT. They are cool on enhance I guess.

Fun is one thing, killing people asap is another, so do what makes you happy.

since my shaman I made recently was only able to get the enh weapons to 32 I was thinking of trying out mok headcracker and cudjel of naralex instead. Bother are 3.60 speed weapons and moks has 1 higher weapon dps for a loss of like 1-2 agility and mastery. Kinda curious to see how windfury works with slower weps.

1) Might work
2) Enhance is also just not about pressing storm strike as fast as you can get it, its physical damage and also not great. So when you stack haste/use haste procs you are just doing a bunch of little ass damage kind of fast, its not good... you are not attacking a stationary raid boss. Critical strike also effects your damage A LOT, even in BGs as you are dealing with smaller attacks and getting them to crit is important.
3) Mastery makes your other abilities "less shitty"... It's real easy to get honestly "lazy" with BC gem gear instead of gearing properly.

I did a build with around 80% mastery and the highest flamelash i got was like 400. I don't think enhance is about large numbers I think the small numbers add up. that's the problem with enhance though stormstrike being physical+ no stormbringer, you would think STORMstrike would deal nature damage or something considering its name but blizz knows best. Another reason for trying the slower weapons is to see if windfury is normalized or not, I am pretty sure it is its 2020after all but you never know.

Lol you should see the rogue I am working on, all mastery/vers with some crit spcced mutilate with dfa for envenoms since the bypass armour. with dispatch talent to help with cp generation. The only downside is pretty squishy with no talasites. It's fun playing things thathave to work 10x harder just to be almost as good as other classes though.

I've been playing with an epic headcracker and blackrock truncheon offhand which I've been enjoying. I'd run that over ironfoe personally. Having most fun in my haste/crit sets too.

I've considered Cudgel in offhand but haven't tried it out yet.

Epic headcraker...I ma pretty jealous of that tbh haha. if you do get cudgel and it also upgrades I might die irl. have you tried using ironfoe and hand of justice? I did some toying around with it on my old 49 warrior on the ptr but havent since.

It's also not all melee also, mastery makes lighting bolt fairly useful and also makes frost shock not just a worthless slow.

Wasn't as good as I had hoped :/

Yea, I mention Ironfoe because 1) dwarf but mainly because 2) its a guaranteed epic 1hander and you're going to want the weapon dmg. In testing, the extra swing accounted for like... 3% of my dmg. Not something worth really worrying over, so if you get a sick epic proc on something else, that'll work wonderfully.

I've had the combo on my F2P for over a month now, but she also has GF'd relics, so I had no idea how it performed relative to ilvl 34 artifacts. But I just picked it up on my vet and did some testing and like... With two +3 strength gems in it, the tool tip dmg on bloodthirst is the same, its like 2 point lower on raging blow and 5 points lower on rampage. But the dps is more or less the same. Using the artifacts has a higher burst window during enrage, owing to more mastery on the weapons, so if youre really good or really lucky with enrage management, that could be the deal breaker.

But SMF, in certain weapon configurations, is comparable to ilvl 34 artifacts. At least close enough to not hinder you or your team in all but the sweatiest of situations.
