iLvl means nothing for a lvl 60 in this bracket, so long as you are above ilvl 75 overall and each slot is above ilvl 60-70. Because we scale to 69, we use their iLvl threshold to our template (because blizz likes logic). You would have to break ilvl 155 overall to see any increase to template values.

I was actually thinking about here the actual ilvl threshold was to gain %
So in other words no point wasting alot of gold to get the really expensive engineering items and the gnome only trinkets for anything other then vanity.

Vanity or World PvP stuff. The Threshold is the base iLvl for the Template. Like how 800 ilvl was the base template (aka threshold) for max level when Legion first started.
I grinded a full set of TF Invasion gear (actually nearly multiple sets) and have grand fathered Engi. I can get 114 iLvl. Literally no difference than iLvl 75. I actually lose Template weapon damage equipping my iLvl 95 Invasion 2hder over ANY epic 2hder. I assume this is because its rare vs epic, but even then this doesnt happen for other slots - at least from my experience.

Save your money lol , any random lvler or 60 will slap that warlock around ilvl means nothing. and for Ipvp weapon quality scales best : Legendary > purple > rare > green and so on..

not entirely sure mate i only play warriors :< i see u started to pickup some quest items already, don't forget the alchemy ilvl90 trinket or go with 2x hellfire 88ilvl trinkets (with faction change)

Yes. For casters it doesn't matter, unless your gonna swing your weapon at someone or do a wand shoot xd.
Who knows, maybe that one wand shoot during a lockout is the deciding factor! (ex dee), but yeah, generally doesn't matter as a caster. The important thing is that you're using a wand if you can equip it.
