SO to revisit, I got up to 191 speed with pet/trailbalzing on a 30 survival hunter... 2466 regen. Still need cloak/trinks.
ICC has tons of sockets at ilvl 115, unfortunately it mostly dropped plate.
edit- RIP minor speed to boots, 1 socket boots and minor speed is much faster then 2 socket wihtout. Hope they up the level limits.

Was only talking about the true BiS issue this expansion, not the ability to get random gear with leech.
IMO If I roll up in 6 months and have some crit/mastery/leech pile on my Ret and claim I've finally made it instead of Haste/Verse~Crit/Socket/Speed its a failure.

The issue is that 10% of the people want 112+socket (and eventually 112+socket+tert+correct stats) to be the meta... but the power gap is too big and the other 90% is not going to want to just be fodder so those people can have fun.
If we get down to 86 turns into 89 (and NO 112 grandfathered gear) that will be fine... sure 10% of the people can whine about how "EPICS should FEEL EPIC!!!!!"... but feeling EPIC with nobody watching is kind of pointless.
Not having the levelers hurt before, but now you are asking the "casual twinks" that kept playing to just be there so YOU CAN ONE SHOT THEM. I don't know how stupid people can get, but every day it's a brand new show here on the forums.

I'll whine about it forever, but you'll never accept it's right because you are the minority it is negative for. The majority of the game sees it as a benefit... you dont cuz a couple dozen people were too lazy to do it before prepatch.
I dont care if it went to 86 and 89, but it's not "good" for anyone but you (us). Epics should be epic, or why have them?

The more 29 you have, the less 20 you'll have, and no one wants to be the fodder so the fodder 29 will stop playing too. With all the locked XP finally out of leveling BG, there's no more reason to limit the difference between rare and epic.
All it does to PvE is make it slower, and that's not just our tiny little bubble, that's across the board. And WoW is PvE....
When your only argument is "It'll make 20-29 better"... you really need to wrap your head around how insignificant that is.

Well the facts are not there to support that claim. When we lost the levelers the bracket did go to 15-20 minute queues, but they where there. Also, the games were pretty much the same as they were when we had the levelers... the games were mostly lopsided premade dog shit- that will NEVER change.
We are now at 50 minute queues +... now again, that could just be because everybody is just playing DF or it could be what I think it is and nobody to wants to feed the new 112 infused one shot abilities... could be a combo of both. People have a tolerance for premades, but they don't for insurmountable power gaps.
We'll see.

Well, the entire 20s bracket cares, because they are not playing... not sure what you are not understanding... I mean, its been laid out for you 100 times now. The bracket cares about the 112 power gap because they are not here. If balancing the epics brings people back... ruin them... remove them... who cares about them.
YOU are 100% saying keep the epics even if it means have no bracket... or at least that is what anybody else reading what you are saying is interpreting it as. That just sounds INSANE to me.

Warglaive, these are just nubile little zoomers that have never had to regear like 5-6 times so far, seen brackets stripped of levellers and be kept on life support for 2 days of games a week (for a few hours) which are organised through forums to get enough queued, seen population dips at the start of each expansion when people are busy doing other things. This is all something "new," and a "deathblow," to twinks.

I'm more than happy just gearing, but just not getting pleasure out of wearing 112 gear and pressing 1 button to kill multiple people wearing i86... now sure you can say "duuuurrrrhhhh then wear i86"... well then you just feed the other little shitty kids that are wearing 112. It's a rough catch 22, but it is what it is.
I'm glad that we have an echo/amp chamber going here (that always empowers the kids), but it's not helping fix the issue.
