Are SPriests really that bad?

Not really. It is just that devouring plague and mindblast do to high numbers of damage (when it crits) but if you compare it to healing and not running oom from other classes... are healers much more bad-ass then a spriest.

Agreed with this. I personally have no problem with spriests usually, unless im facing like 3 of them that actually know what they're doing.
 
There probably are three in the whole bracket that actually know what they're doing.

Oh please. Give all the 24 Priests some credit man. It's not hard to get 3 orbs and chain a MB/DP together to *one shot* a F2P...

This, but it's fun 1v1ing other spriests and wrecking them. It happens a lot due to the large amount of them
 
I started to play my wlock a bit again and i feel that that class is a good counter against a spriest. Fearing them at the right time and beeing a belf gives a good feeling. You just gotta keep track of mb cd and count some orbs if they even get 3 fighting a lock.
 
Scatter, disengage the fuck off and concshot from 40yds, proceed to escape; seems to be working well for me :)

You just described my strategy for every spriest lol shh!

Don't forget to smeld their channeling spell so you don't get slowed while in that 60% run speed and so you can recall your pet and mount up asap if you are nelf. Alot of times the dots will kill me a couple hundred feet away but atleast I know I got away which is the most I can do vs one

I'm unfortunately only an orc so I'll have to deal with it if they somehow still manage to mindflay me. Or send my pet to intimidate, by then I'll be good at least.

Why not kill them aka nuke when they lose their shield... who cares if you get a mb hit.. most think they are soo superior with a spriest. Just stun them to death works fine most of the time if you have your cd´s instead of running and being scared for a mb. Retreat and attack continuously works fine. I assume you play a 24 hunt and not a 20 like Lil wich is also doable but with way lesser dmg makes it a lot harder. But all of this depends on the situation ofc.

I play a 20 p2p hunt. Usually I'm half hp before I even get thru their shield so you really have to get a bit lucky or hope they're totally shit if you're going for a kill.

Lol at hunters pretending that they go around killing competent 24 spriests.
 
24 Spriests are actually very strong. There's times where I 1v3 sometimes even 1v4.

The best part about playing my 24 is when a fellow 20/24 will make a level 1 just to rage whisper me and boogie! Haha :cool:
