There was no end to the abuse I went through trying to get it on my rogue Maylas. And when you do get it someone hates you for it. It's free for all. Either you step in or you don't. Just like the fishing contest, you don't own those pools. It's free for all, it's a contest, a competition. It sucks but that's how it is. Either you keep trying and keep fighting or you give up.
Just remember, it's a game. Try to have a little fun And there is no sense in tearing this wonderful community apart because of Arena Grand Master. It's overrated, overvalued, and not at all necessary.
Edit: I just realized this might be a little late, so sue me D:
Technically speaking, unless AP US is weirdly different from other Realms, half an hour into the contest some capped toon will have already won the BB contest itself, and the pools are just there to watch paint dry, I mean, have the RNG gods smile on you for that Anglefish.
In other words, it's just polite to not Fish in pools someone else is already Fishing, not necessary as nowadays an abundance of pools spawn in a far less dangerous STV (the area where the two STV zones meet is especially rife), and a bit clumsy as e.g. two people Fishing at two pools will make two new ones spawn instead of just one if people keep Fishing in the same pool.
There is a time and place for everything, and Fishing for the LFH is already annoying enough without frankly pointless twink-on-twink shenannigans.
At least that is the way I and at least some others look at it.
I think this thread is done. As many have said, AGM isn't a fair system so we don't need that drama to propagate on these forums. Best of luck to everyone going for their AGM.
