I do this a lot when I'm alone. Like not casually or just when I'm nervous. I'll do this anytime I think about something.
I'll have full-on conversations with myself as if I have an alter ego. I'll pretend one side of me doesn't know the context of the other, and vice versa. Especially for arguing two sides of an issue. Almost in a Smeagol/Gollum kind of fashion (albeit not as creepy). In a way, I think it helps me interact with other people. Instead of just saying stuff in my head, it helps me become a better speaker.
But kind of awkward when people come up to me and I'm unaware.
