Just talked on the phone with a Cust. Rep. He sent me to the us.battle.net form and told me some specifics about how to request help, a lot of which you guys gave me, I just sent in this:

2 days ago I had my account recovered. While searching through all of my characters to inspect them encase they had been stripped of all items and gold, I logged on to Mummified on Frostmourne. Upon entering the game world this character instantly leveled to 20 even though his last condition had experience disabled in order to preserve him for game play in the level 19 battleground bracket. I have since created several in-game petitions inquiring to any solution to my problem and have been told I can not de-level a character.



Having understood this I would like to request a transfer of items to an identical character archetype, Undead Warrior, that I would level myself to level 19 in order to replace the current character. I have already set up the new character, its name is "Jerald"



I have not moved the original character since the moment I discovered the change in level. I would also like to request the help of a specialist in this matter.

Sell all your shit and say u got hacked. I had a soulbound SF on a rogue I decided to level to 85 and got hacked and they restored it unbound



So that's a BS answer

I've heard that GMs can, and have done so for numerous other people with this very same problem. This isn't world peace or feeding the hungry. Its moving some bits of data, item id numbers, its not difficult. I know, and you know its very possible to do this task. I spent a good portion of time on that server specifically for 1 item on that 1 character. I have followed the path Blizzard set before me in order to prevent this very situation from occurring and as a result of Blizzard's actions, not mine, the character's ability to gain experience was turned back on.



Quite frankly there is nothing left on that server for me at all because of this situation and the entire time spent on several supporting characters is wasted as well. I know the solution to this problem is very easy and it does not include another canned response.

na, I think ill let it go. I'm starting a new rogue on Caeleztraz where my true mains are. I'll at least have my BoA gear and some support staff in place. My mage has a ton of twink chants so I wont have to hunt down anything.
 
lol, my original was a rogue, then he accidentally dinged while fishing. this was pre exp on/off, Full BiS

damn that blows man. at least you were persistent about it. oh well, time to move on and make a new twink!
 
yeah already on it. Like I said, my mage had all the goodies I need, hopefully I can pick up some scrub Assassin's Blade or get lucky with farming SF.



Quite frankly I have been incredibly successful at farming SFK. I actually picked up the Assassin's blade while questing in hillsbrad, then farmed for 2 weeks and caught the SF. Prior to that I was still raping faces with dual skulls, so I'm not afraid to run the welfare special on people. The BoA gear I have available should be able to carry me till I can finish the arena. But god damn if I have a warlock just ichin to play.
