Any tips on DMF?

Before 1 week of DMF, I get so pumped and can't wait to get my new boas.. but when it comes the following week I just get lazy as hell and barely do anything. Any tips on getting tickets quick? I'm really sick of this. For the first 2 days I'm motivated but then it's just like... meh. Please gimmeh some tips!

Oh and looting the arena chest gives you 5 tickets (assuming you're on a low pop server).

Oh serious? What time does it drop? On my phone now so not bothered going on wowhead xD

I farm mats. the week before and when dmf comes i run through all profs. and use all artifakt within 2h. Then I only need to do the dailies for the rest of the week.

Farming mats ahead of time (over the course of three or four weeks is ideal) is nice, though a bit of work. But it's the only sure way to get your 160+ DMF tickets in one DMF, as you won't get every chest.

If you're just going for the 110 items, and wanted to min your leveling work, then get mining. Its mats are used in three production profs: engr, bs, and jc.

Tailoring is super easy to do, and if you just go kill gnoles for your trophies, you'll likely have enough linen to do tailoring. You should be able to knock out tailoring in a few min.

If it's not your first DMF, meaning you already have the adventurer's journal, then just do a random a day or so during the weeks leading up to DMF so you can get some dungeon artifacts without rushing during DMF.

I would assume everyone here BGs enough to have too many pvp artifacts :p

Good luck faire goers!

I use a pretty effective strategy. The first day of DMF I take the portal and do all dailies. The second day I try to do the same again and then I realise its useless. The third day I stop doing the dailies. I repeat this process every month.

My strat. Start farming for any artifacts I don't have 2 weeks after dmf is over (need a weeks break of no dmf stuff after it ends.. dmf is just soo boring). Normally I get the artifacts within 2 weeks of casual farming. I also make about 3 trips a day to IF to buy some enchanting supplies

First day I go and hand in every artifact and get that outa the way and do dailies. I also do first aid, fishing, cooking, herb and alch dailies. After that I normally drop alch for tailoring (easiest prof by far behind enchanting).

Tailoring I go to sentinel hill and spend about 10 minutes of famring instant spawns. Drop tailoring and do skinning.

I go to kharanos to skin around 300 light leather then do the skinning daily. I then drop skin and pick up lw and get that to 100 really quick then do lw daily.

I then drop lw and get enchanting and lv that by making rods and using any leftover lw stuff to d/e. Do enchanting daily then this is normally where I stop tbh.. Mining is a pita and you need like 400 ores I think for all the profs and I can't drop alch so I could only have mining and I've been short like 3 times of maxing jc, eng and bs so I no longer farm mining.

Also I know it has been mentioned but on low pop servers the chest is a GREAT thing to do. Gives around 80g (easy got my mind on money achieves) as well as 5 tokens. If you can just get 2 a day that's almost half of what you need for the boas JUST from the chest per week. I've been able to get 110 tokens for a boa JUST from the chest one week lol

There's a great guide somewhere for DMF in this subforum. I think RhaeCharles or Mind-y-zuma created it.

Anyways - I just grab a BoA every other month - really easy if you're in no rush and have dozens of toons.

You can get 5 extra tickets if you do the dailies at 3:00 AM when the Darkmoon Faire opens (You will still be able to to the dailies later that same Sunday).
Also you can slowly collect PvP artifacts between faires.

There are 3 ways you can go about this. You can get motivated and do all your professions (a few DMFs ago I did all the professions in 2 days)

2nd way is to be semi lazy and just do the dailies each day and your current professions quests, and any artifacts you stumble across.

The 3rd is do absolutely nothing with DMF cause after a certain point skill > gear
