(Aerie Peak US) is it worth it?

It's worth having toons on each faction and having toons on and off AP. I find myself bouncing back and forth between solitude and AP chat. I get bored of both pretty quickly and forget why I switched in the first place, only to have the cycle restart.

If I had $10,000 for every toon I drunken-deleted during the process you just enumerated, I'd be a rich man.

My list of deleted toons is beyond number. The only one I regret is my horde Enh. I wanted it's name on a different toon, and I was so apathetic about the Enh, that I never bothered to restore it until it was far too late. Full BoAs and LFH.... Meh.

Been on AP Horde for a couple days now, and am absolutely in love with it.
Lots of skilled players, and from what I've seen, everyone is kind and helpful.

I am from Sylvannas EU and have a 24 twink and a F2P on Twisting Nether. I was looking at realm recruitment and i looked at Aerie Peak US and it looked pretty exciting+fun , i posted this thread to ask is it worth making a new email,WoW account and Downloading US version...
What do you guys think
Apart from all the people trying to promote AP, which i can understand, I believe that being on Aggramar horde EU feels the same as being there. Perhaps a bit lesser people and lesser events but if there is more interest these things will follow automaticly. Tried to bring some events to EU but the interest seems small but if you look at people doing arenas then they also happen on AG and there are tons of skilled people there i have to admit.

Another thing is the latency you play with there. It is not high for EU people but it can give problems. I've noticed that there is alot difference in the US as a whole between people and it could happen that you will be having better latency then someone from the US with the result of "weird" latency gameplay which does not happen at the EU (atleast for me and i have a dam good connection). In the past i used to play EU with the latency i have at the US but it just not feels the same, even with low latency you can notice some sort of lag playing in the US.

The choice is yours ofc, all the best.

Just be a decent player and active in chat/BGs..... Most of AP horde are old 19s who know the bracket very well. The only time I've seen people be rude is when someone is spouting out their ass about stuff they don't know. AP is the reason I got back into wow after the frustration of Cata 19s, and it's a blast. Also the 2 people talking on chat with 50 people online statement is completely untrue.

It's also largely what you make out of it. To begin with, you need players to play with but you will have a large impact on the quality of your experience.

Should join ap alliance. It's a lot easier to get the agm, but if you are coming from a f2p-dead-server, then that probably doesn't mean much to you... yet.
