Aerie Peak Premade GG's Fun Times

Yeah too bad f2ps can't get fap potions, that would be awesome.

That's what is to be expected from 5 24 vs a 9man PuGmade from AP.

If they fought a real 10 man Premade from AP, I'd except different results. Maybe not a 3-0 cap but definitely not a faceroll match.

PuGmade: Randomly inviting people from f2pchat for BGs
Premade: A dedicated Team of either 10/15(depending on the BG) all in skype/vent. A dedicated DPS who calls out targets. Dedicated healers. Dedicated FC for WSG. etc etc.

Majority of the time, if you ever fight a team from Aerie Peak(horde), they are just a PuGmade.

I have only been in two actual Aerie Peak Premades. Last time we tried to do one was Ally Ap vs Horde Ap WSG.

Was going to say, has this ever even happened lol. Dont know why you guys are bothering to point out the distinction.

I think the premade/pugmade distinction is important... but it's not as if the players AP horde side were noobs. I wouldn't refer to it as a complete pugmade because practically all of us were experienced players.

Simply put, the high numbers of 24s along with the combination of a druid FC who used FAPs was just difficult. It wasn't a 'faceroll' or 'stomping' for either team. It was a very close match, it was a fun game. Not sure why it's spawned this conversation. We all know that 24s have massive inherent advantages over 20s.

I think it is important too and I feel that some of us should try to get into vent more. Its amazing how much just talking can help, me and swagbag skype every time we bg so we know who to heal/attack etc. Knowing the player and helps soo much as you know what that person can and cant do. It raises your gameplay level soo much when you know whats going on.

Hunter, if you have any experience with pvp, any at all, then you'll know the difference between these two analogies:

Example 1: A Random person in trade chat is wanting to form a RBG. After spamming trade for a good 15-30 minutes(maybe longer), he gets a decent solid group between DPS, Heals, and somewhat of an FC.
I would define ^this as a PuGmade. A random person wants to do PvP in a group, and forms it with random people that meets the minimum requirements for the RBG spot.

Example 2: Nerd Cleave runs a dedicated solid team for RBGs almost on a weekly basis , if not daily. They have been running the same comp of people for months, each of them are 2.2k+ experienced, and they have a solid tactic for each type of BG they may enter. If for whatever reason one of them cannot come, they have dedicated subs who can fill in for their RBGs.
I would define ^this as a Premade. This was not a random person trying to form an RBG team with random players who he/she may not know if they are even exceptional PvPers.

The fact that is 5man 24 team faced off against 9 people from AP, not 10, goes to show it wasn't even a premade(A premade would have 10 people).

There is an obvious difference between a PuGmade and Premade. Majority of the time, you will fight a PuGmade in BGs. Let me repeat myself as to what a PuGmade is:

A random person in f2ptwink chat starts spamming that he's forming a group for BGs, he needs more people, anyone can come. Majority of the time this it to help people farm their BoA gear, because they are not BiS yet.

An actual premade would not let just anyone in. They would all need to be 100% BiS geared, need a full team(IE: 10 or 15 ppl dependings on the BG), everyone would need to be in skype/vent, they'd have a dedicated DPS calling out kill-targets, etc etc.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the difference between a PuGmade and a Premade after explaining it a hundred different ways to you and others.

Really with the new TI vent server there is no excuse to not at least be in vent to hear people who have vent/mics communicating. I can't tell you how many times people are either ranging me or LoSing me and I'd even say out loud to no one that people are ranging me. Also for just calling out CCs, calling out which way the EFC is going, etc. Even having 3-4 people with mics and the rest listening is a huge help.

premade basically seems like a pugmade with vent/skype.
This is a premade:

and this is a PuGmade.

See the difference?

There's like 3-4 glad players on that team haha

Yep. That game we ended up in bc Alliance fucked up :p W had to do it quick. 5min games with 1 carrier. Woot.

i cant see the difference in the screenshots they still look the same
Screenshot 1: Game won in 5 minutes, horde way ahead in damage & healing, 0 deaths, didn't even let the alliance grab their flag. Basically, the horde completely dominated that game.

Screenshot 2: Longer game, damage dealt was pretty even on both sides, many deaths on the horde side, looked to me like the alliance was probably focused more on HKs than winning the game (big surprise there). Yeah, it was a 3-0 game, but if it weren't for the alliance paladins having their heads up their asses, this could have been a close game.

Don't try to think too hard hunter, your head might explode.

He's saying the "premade" is experienced generally BiS players who are known in the AP community, and they used vent to communicate.

The "pugmade" is a premade composed of random people, whoever happened to be online and willing to go at the time.

Usually though people just say 'premade' as a general term that includes all the different variations.
