Thirk you need to:
Go to Dalaran and get Master Fisherman - ezmode just go to the vendor.
You need to go to stormwind and fish in their front lake
You need to have a warlock/someone else summon you to stockades and clear it ezmode
You need to fish up old crafty
you need to fish the dalaran fountain for coins
theres a LOT of ezmode stuff you can still do for ez achievements.

I just registered today. I noticed there were a few players that were close to my level of achievement points. Thirk, Dömhring, and Rayu. My hat is off to Dömhring for making the faction jump and who seems to be the current leader. I plan on making the jump soon this month after I finish the ally quests. I just have 1 gripe to blizz, you guys have a 40 point advantage for the professions which I cannot level past 225
I made this toon in June so you guys got an edge on world events too but I'm still catching up. Currently working on diplomat.

Achievements: Continuous instant gratification for people who can't find their own reasons to play...
I just think it's sad that no one in a million years would have bothered doing 90% of this crap until now, and why? So a little window can pop up in their face and some meaningless points can be tallied up? Arggg get back to the game play blizzard and not the periphery crap that true gamers could give an uber shit less about.

So if you don't care about achievements why would you even post a reply in this thread other than just being a hater? I think your opinion of what a "true gamer" is happens to be closed minded. Not everyone values achievement points, fine. I believe people should play in any manner that they get the most enjoyment. If you aren't having fun then what is the purpose of playing?

I've estimated the current max value for achievements at the 19 level to be right around 3200.

Some of the achievments are actually pretty impressive when you read through the lists. Some may think it is a waste of time but I would argue these people probably have incredible game knowledge. Personal preference I guess. I'll laugh if one day they implement an achievment vendor where you can buy items similiar to Hierlooms with achievment points (wouldn't be surprised if they did this). You already get special titles and some of the higher level ones give out mounts.
