I'm not making any accusations. I'm sick of self-inflated egos telling me they're better than me because they're 'pure.' Pure f2p is bullshit. If you aren't paying, you're f2p. Period. Having a linked account or not doesn't make one person better than any other person.
Some people take this PVE game WAAAAYYYY too seriously. It's not balanced around PvP. It never has been. It never will be. If you want a balanced PvP game, go play a MOBA.
when I'm subbed, which is rarely, I stay out of the f2p bracket. The leveling brackets are much more balanced and fun anyway. we all know why 24s are here. But don't lump linked accounts in with the 24s. Not the same. Never have been. Never will be. Linked accounts have cosmetic shit like mounts and battle pets. They don't have enchants that give 80% haste and 80% crit.
Some day soon, linked accounts will have access to p2p heirlooms. I'll wear them and not one fuck will be given concerning 'pure' f2p derision or crying.
As has already been stated, half the time, the guild BOAs have INFERIOR stats to the farmed items, so I don't even know why people are bitching.

I have a warrior who has spent two+ days /played farming Thistlenettle. I would like to do something OTHER than hang out in that damn cave on that toon, so you can bet your bottom dollar that as soon as account wide heirlooms go live, I'm gonna put on those BOA pants, kill that bastard one more time out of spite, and never go back there again.
I'm not the only one who needs to get their facts straight.

I played WoW since it was released. Everything that I have due to having a linked account, I earned. As srs very accurately points out, the advantage of having even one P2P helping on your realm far exceeds having a linked account.
Kincaide proudly wears her Scarlet Tabard, all of the time. It's a badge of some sort of significance in the F2P world I suppose, since it was grandfathered long ago. Only veterans have it. And... every person who has one was helped by a P2P. In my case, I used a 7-day free trial on my paid account to run myself through SM. I earned that tabard, and if I wear guild BoAs down the road it will be because I earned those too.
There is zero comparison between a F2P 20 wearing a guild BoA that is largely comparable to what's already available to F2Ps, and a P2P 24 crutching on hilariously broken enchant scaling. Anyone who says otherwise couldn't possibly be doing anything other than trolling, unless they are really, really bad at math.
This is a non-issue for the 85-90% of F2Ps who have access to a P2P account, and the other 10-15% really need to get some perspective if they think that THIS, of all woes, is the most important thing to harp on right now.

But seriously, I'm super happy to see someone that gets it. I laugh to myself every time a 24 tells me to get an account because I have one; I just choose to be bad at WoW for free, and in the future if I get access to a couple more items I earned when I was paying to be a melee mage or bubble-hearthing on my pally, then so be it.

It's not "a few minutes." It's 3,000 minutes and counting. I've killed Thistlenettle countless more times than I killed Anzu when I was farming the Reins of the Raven Lord. The Raven Lord farm is no joke. Any one who farmed it will confirm. So I can't get BiS because RNG hates me? F that.

Why would you say that? Many people do battlegrounds for the same reason you would do arenas or other in game events, for the entertainment. I have not needed honor in quite some time. But it did not stop me from queuing for battlegrounds.

When and if the tabard tab goes account wide I will be using http://www.wowhead.com/item=52252 . I earned both of those tabards fairly and ALL of my gear fairly on both my trial and subscribed accounts. Having a "pure" trial does not make you any better than any one else. Unless it is better at moaning and whinning.
