According to Blizzard, gem exploit is now OK? Seriously?!?

As I have said it again Ive had gems for almost a year now and nothing happened its fully legit.

'Legit' is a pretty variable term as far as Blizzard goes. They'll just pass something off as being ok until they get enough complaints, figure out how to fix it, or just don't like it any longer.

Look at Multi-boxers, they were safe for ages then suddenly Blizz is claiming they're disrupting other players' experience in BGs.

im not denying , but that is my regular gear on. i hit over 5k+ with gems. i have no reason to lie. like what was stated. exploit ain't no different of doing things not intended like trials with dks or low lvls with pink ribbon shirt . I'm not stupid.. I know this was directed towards me since I called you out in the post before. The difference between me making a dk and farming some titles or achieves or mounts and me getting help by getting a pink ribbon shirt and you exploiting using gems is who do I effect with my shirt? Who do I gimp due to me using my shirt?

You can try to say that having a shirt that does nothing to anyone elses play experience is the same as you stacking 40 resil (about 20 added % off of everyones attacks) or 40 pvp power which is a big boost in dmg and hell maybe blizz thinks the samething but they are nothing alike. My trial dks arent in bgs 1 shotting F2Ps and they aren't effecting any trials experience while you pop your gems on every 5 person premade you got so don't compare them as being the same kind of exploit.

pls refrain from putting all 24s in the same boat, if f2ps could there would be some of you doing the same thing as the 24s. always gonna be people who exploit if they can no matter what class, lvl or bracket you are in. but in 24s gemmers are a minority, most 24s hate it as well.

This. I was on my mage last night and ran into a gemming lock.
Kicked their ass.
There's really no point in it.
If you suck, you'll continue to suck - gems or not.
If you don't suck you don't need to gem in the first place.

Ofc there is a point, if two equally strong 24s battle it out you dont think the person with gems have an advantage? I am not debating with you if using gems is an honorable thing to use or not(obviously it is not vs f2pers) however I was just spinning further on your argument. People use it because they can and want every advantage possible, this and the skill of the person using it does not necessarily correlate.

I would imagine though, anyone who has worked to improve their skills to a reasonable standard would be proud to show off those skills, not dirty them with exploitative measures.

If it's OK to gem, can someone post the procedure? I suspect it's not, though. One GM out of dozens, doesn't mean Blizz approves. It means the GM probably doesn't like tattle-tales (who does?) and wanted the OP to go away?

How powerful would a gem'd P2P 20 be? With scaled stats and scaled gems, such a toon would be unstoppable? One-shotting everything in sight?

Secondary stats scale down for 24 right now, if they change that you'd gain about 4% more pvp power. It wont make you one shot things if you aren't already.

Why would people tell you?
People who don't abuse it don't want anyone extra doing it as even if you can kill them, it's rather annoying and people who do gem want to keep their unfair advantage.

Only problem i had with Duo is he didn't admit to wearing them. Honeybadger is the only person in bracket that has came out to wearing them since Cata and everyone knows he has them. Honey doesn't farm with Gems and has never used during premades or Wargames in fact doesn't even encourage them. Last i look he didn't macro manage the guild that way. Blizzard has not made it a priority to fix the problem. I actually don't have a problem with people using gems just more of a challenge. I just hate people lying about having them like i have stated. There is a ton of people using gems unless you think there lazy not leveling their professions. i won't point fingers but everyone has one in all major 24 guilds. Yde told me not to mention in thread and call people out so i won't. Stop complaining and play the game.

Is that on your gemmed up toon? Used to be named Duopaladin, then you transferred to Draka couple months ago and renamed your toon Ìronman (alt code 0204) so that you could run with your fellow gemmers. Remember right after I ran into your gemmed up premade, I went into the Holy Crit vent and asked you if you were running with Ìronman? And you flat out denied it. "Naw man, that's just some pug we ran into," you said. You didn't have the balls to tell me the truth that you are in fact Ìronman. And then you begged your real ID friends not to tell anyone that your holy paladin is now named Ìronman.

People who cheat must always tell lies to cover up their cheating.

Why won't you accept Lith's challenge for a ten v. ten warsong? You won't have to spend an hour trying to sync queues; you just do a wargame so that there's no waiting around. You dodge a contest with <Sua Sponte> because you would rather run your gemmed toons and faceroll 20s all day long. The funniest part is that you and your gemmed up buddies actually think that you're good players.

By the way, you might want to update your signature since there is no longer a toon named "Duopaladin" who is a member of <Holy Crit>.
