Blizz added Iron Docks and Grimrail to the Season 4 Mythic+ thing.
They made them drop sockets.
They fucked up and forgot it was only meant to be for mythic+.

Which means only helm, neck, rings, belt and bracers should be able to get socket as they are the only slots at max level that can get sockets

Most armor pieces from Wod can drop from multiple dungeons, the pic above shows them dropping in Iron Docks, just check the floor in the background.

So let's see here as an example (because I didn't do many WOD dungeons) If you wanted a specific socketed ring

You'd have to hope the one you want dropped, and then hope that it procs a socket?
Granted these are main stat rings so the secondary's are pretty low on em but having a fat main stat ring would be pretty sick
But there are multiple options for very similar rings I guess

I'm assuming this is the same socket chance as BFA dungeons?

Yea i just finished one run of iron docks, and the healer had equipped a heirloom str axe (was a paladin) and we wiped 3 Times at the Last boss Cuz ppl rushing during cannon barrage. Nope, non socketed 25 blue rings are good enough for me.

not sure if this has been patched already or if its on CN only , but I've done 16 resets killing all bosses and haven't gotten any socket procs on either booster or my 20 .

so untill someone proves me otherwise I'm done with this.

to this day im bummed that Legion dungeons dont at our level

WoD dungeon drops can (could) proc epic... not that it matters cuz the stats rarely change, but I'm curious if that's no longer the case in lieu of the mythic change. Epics happened a LOT more than tertiary in the past, so if no one is seeing them that's confirmation enough for me.

And pretty sure you get 2 drops per boss on those dungeons when you solo. Haven't played in a while, might be misinfo.

edit- eh, my bad. Only 1 drop per boss in normal. Not sure about legacy cuz no sub.

I mean WOD dungeons had bad drop rates and obviously worse tert proc rates.

It looks like curtain is lifted now on the gear scaling in most dungeons. Just need to pass the gate

Even back in WoD the chance to get socket on wod gear was horrendous. It was so bad it was easier to farm socket crate gear which was also terrible.

yea, just did a lockout over lunch. Got a handful of epic procs, a couple terts but no socket.

Think im gonna pass on this particular grind. Even with a socket, this stuff is mostly trash or just passably GoodNuff
