Going vet was the best thing I have done in-game for a while!

I played for a few months last year F2P, got really into it, and left after stale game-play and fighting 24's. Coming back now as a F2P is easier than before ,for sure, but why stay F2P? We were following the F2P guidelines because we had no choice, now we can use heirlooms from our main accounts or pay a small fee to gain 30 days for time to gear. I've been doing arenas lately as a vet disc priest and I'm winning like 80% of games. Level 29's aren't much anymore unless it's the right comp. Vet accounts will be the death of F2P because you wont HAVE to pay.

My future toons probably won't be enchanted but they will still be way better than a F2P of old and I won't have to run RFC, DM, WC, SFK, etc ad nauseaum for a 0.01% drop rate that some scrub rolls on. **** THAT!

Time is money friend. 5$ spent on Vet is waaaaaaay more time having fun actually participating in pvp, and isn't that what we're all here for?


EDIT: I love how people are complaining how F2P was amazing etc but then they have Precious' Ribbon and use their 100's to farm AGM. You weren't really F2P, get over it.

it used to be the 20-24section

I agree, actually, but some people genuinely hold similar opinions so I can't quash this thread without seeming to some that I'm quashing one side of a debate in which I am a participant.

Therefore I'm going to let my uninvolved fellow mods look in on this thread and ask them to use their own judgment.

Well one thing that's obvious to me now is that F2Ps don't really want balance, they always complain about 29s but if they do have the chance to have enchants and p2p heirlooms, (basically 29) they will take it. Quite ironic but that's our bracket.

Most of the people i know, still play with the "pure" f2p gear. Ofc a lot have the guild looms, but atleast without enchants. I can live with that

Can someone explain to me how this works? I have an f2p account made in cata, it's linked to my 3 p2p accounts one of which is frozen as well. If I pay to open my f2p account will I have to keep paying or can I let the sub run out and then play f2p style again only with the gear/enchants I accuired while subbed?

If you don't pay your sub on a p2p it becomes a veteran account and you can play any char below 21.

There's always been whining and hate among the f2p section alone. I don't know where you get this "united against p2p" mindset, which has never really existed simply because we have never been united.

Also you're preaching to the choir, we know these things but most of us simply do not favor the lesser hand.

For me it's pretty simple . Just have multiple sets and use ur judgment on which to use . If the other team is a full 29 premade then sure have at it . If it's a premade vs another f2p realm and u want competitive games go ahead and put on ur f2p set . Over all I think this is kindah silly . Because war games is where it's at with competition and those will have clear gear restrictions. Ehh just my opinion

I will go veteran. But not because of p2pLooms or Enchants.....

People must understand that my bank , is full =/.

And who knows, maybe i can get some mounts i love.

But i will NEVER chose to be superior to the other F2Ps.

Do what you like, its your decision. But if you like challenge... F2P is the way.
