Sucks that my original post will be overlooked because Conq wants to imply I'm a fascist based on fuck all
All my posts about fascism and white supramacy were targeted towards MYT if I'm not mistaken. You haven't expressed any fascist or white supremacists talking points from what I saw so if I somehow made you feel as if I was targeting you that was not my intent.

A) sentinel effect. Jack booted mask thugs hestitate to attack/rob law abiding Americans when they know we may be armed.
B) primary reason we’re armed is so I’d say the socialist takes power and try to steal our money and freedom then the tree of freedom will be to be refreshed. We’ll simply never be slaves to the government here.
Fortunately there are no Socialists running. You might do some homework on socialism. They are running as democratic socialists. So free healthcare is bad right, cheaper meds, never mind. I can't change your mind, it's made up.

The fact is that until somebody you know well is shot in one of these events, the conservatives, gun totters, NRA people, and GOP will say that guns prevent crimes and you cannot take them from them.

Damn. I see what happened. Your post was merged, making it appear as if you were replying to me. Sorry for saying your business was in danger after hiring you. I feel like a dick now.

The trump administration has dropped that penalty. It’s true when left wingers were elected they tried to control us and a liberal court agreed. But now we’ve elected people who support freedom and they removed that penalty.

Not only is it irrelevant but it’s untrue as well. Current governments are not older than ours. The French has the murderous French Revolution. The brits replaced subjection to the monarch to subjection to the commons. In both cases, after our existing government was formed.

Longest contiguous Government my friend. One of the oldest flag designs as well. Denmark has the oldest.

He said established countries, not established governments. Of which the USA isn't the longest still running. That would be San Marino who's constitution was written in 1600.

San Marino and Isle of Man were mentioned in my original post on the subject. At any rate, you are correct.

/cheers

Many of Europe’s governments lost their continuity due to WW1 and WW2.

If you wanna get real technical, we changed our governing document as recently as 92...

Same contiguous government. That is the beauty of the Constitution.

So there aren’t any candidates far left enough for you eh? That’s quite literally crazy.

The us will never give in to socialist tyranny. I do mean never.

Well you might protest the police, military, firemen, medicare, etc., as they are socialist programs.

I'm sorry but the ONLY sane answer is to take away people's right to guns or this will never stop. The UK banned all guns except licensed shotguns and rifles, and has not had a massacre since (Dunblane 23 years ago).

You also have Islamist raping thousands of children while you’re scared to fight back. You’re a bunch of cucks

guess it depends on how you define contiguous but really I'm just splitting hairs.

America is decently old but not impressively so in the grand scheme of history

except they aren’t. Only an idiot thinks they are.
[doublepost=1565029123,1565028903][/doublepost]Ps conq - nobody that attends actual “business” meetings calls them that. They call them meetings. Next time you try to sound important, tell a better lie.

Ok, so the people who wrote the definition are wrong? See below:

1: any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods
2a: a system of society or group living in which there is no private property
b: a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state
3: a stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done

Uh - almost all the really big murderers whether hitler Stalin mao and other were socialists you jackass.

How does it feel knowing you people will never rule here because we the people won’t ever allow it?

Don't think a lot of people would argue for socialism, certainly not for marxism-leninism at least.

What many seem to want is strong social policies, and that doesnt invalidate capitalism at all.
In fact many countries that a lot of people believe to be socialist aren't, they just have strong social policies wich imo are a great foundation for a healthy and happy society.

Edit: and btw, Germany is a example of state capitalism during the WWs

as for the solution, it's simple and called UBI.

https://www.euronews.com/2018/05/05/trump-s-knife-crime-claim-how-do-the-us-and-uk-compare-

Lol what?

Most sources will show that the USA has similar or higher knife crime than the UK.

The user-base for this website is predominantly American so please, get out your pitchforks (semi-auto 40 round capacity "not an assault rifle" weapons) and rip me to shreds over this.

My actual opinion on the american epidemic of mass shootings & what directions are available to you lot:

Guns are part of your culture, guns can protect you, guns are written into your constitution, guns are on the hip of every cop in the country, guns outnumber people in the us 1.2-1, guns are expensive, guns have a lobby, guns are political, guns have influence, guns kill, guns kill multiple people regularly, guns allow mentally unstable people to kill multiple people regularly, your culture, your constitution allows this.

There are too many guns already in your country with too many people feeling like they have a born right to own them. Yet they weep and send they're prayers every time this happens. From an outsider it seems ridiculous. Especially coming from a country that has no constitution and actually very little binding my rights to anything apart from the Magna Carta written in 1215.

But you do have a constitution, and I can sympathise with that. It's a set of rights and values that your born with. It's what makes you a US citizen. It's arguably the most valuable part of your culture and what protects you from the government.

I can understand then, with so much distrust in your government for the past century, that if anyone was to consider changing the constitution, specifically the 2nd amendment you would kick, claw and shoot your way to stop them.

But why?
Is it because you genuinely have a fear that the government could take over with force & you'd need a gun to protect yourself?
Is it because you genuinely have a fear that someone else has a gun and you need one yourself to defend against them?
Is it because this is your right and once one is changed they could change them all?
Is it a mixture of all of those? Something else?

Would changing the 2nd amendment resolve any of the mass shooting issues your country faces anyway? I don't know. But I do know that whenever this topic comes up the bottom line in why nothing changes is because the 2nd amendment trump card gets played and you all stop in your tracks... I'd forfeit my right to a gun if it meant the mentally brainwashed incel behind the barrel aimed at my head was lowered too.

But I forgot, you have the US political system that works on bribes and laundering - this conversation is pointless. Find a way to make money without the sale and distribution of weapons and you lot might have a chance. Until that happens you'll be having this conversation until the end of time.

Thats not what i was getting at, i was just saying i was suprised how much knife violence is in the UK.

"Most sources will show that the USA has similar or higher knife crime than the UK."

Ok so, heres some facts.

United States
is about 40 times bigger than United Kingdom.

the population of United Kingdom is ~64.4 million people (262.2 million more people live in United States).

262.2 million more people, and according to you. "Most sources will show that the USA has similar or higher knife crime than the UK."

Yeah, obviously.... The united states has 262.2 million more people, id expect it to have more knife violence. The fact the UK has even "similar" knife violence according to you is rediculous, i never argued that. I would of never made that statement and TBH i think the US has WAYYYY more knife violence, i was just suprised by how rampant it was in the UK

So u think its normal for the UK to have similar knife violence on par with a country with hundreds of millions more citizens.?
