Nothing in the 70-79 bracket is as broken as Enhancement at the moment. I've played a 70 twink since end of WoTLK, and I'm having a hard time remembering any other time/class that was as broken. Protection Paladins one shotting with shields, DK/Ench on 72 with 2x Niffel axes, Rogues and Frost Mages during cataclysm. None of those has frustrated me as much as watching a 79 enhancement shaman go 1v8 in AB and come out winning the fight with 100% HP. I was sitting at LM and watching it happen at BS.

You're not wrong, this fella is my current project, and it is really op, even with shit gear. I've never played anything that has such wild self healing, but it's fun as hell. Actually really stoked to face my buddy's ret once I'm better geared. Still though, not sure I can take him and that burst.

We'll see, with purges I'll probably make it. I will say your story about an 8v1 shaman battle must have involved countless mistakes by the 8. Yes 3v1 levelers is doable, but any more than that brings too much cc, and you run out of mana for self heals.

When you delete a non-twink in 2 seconds, it's easily doable. Even as a twink, the moment that 79 Shaman reaches me, I'm gone in 2-3 attacks and often instantly. There isn't even a 'oh shit...' moment for those levelers. They're gone before they can react most of the time.

Free Action Potion gives 24s of stun, slow and root immunity for 79s, and 30s for 70s. My enh shaman is nigh unstoppable with it (and tremor totem to counter fears). 1v8 is still dependent on the 8 being bad players, though.
That said, ret palas at 79 are really strong right now. I would have a hard time against one in a duel, but then again BGs are not duels

Yeah I have stacks of faps on my war, but haven't loaded my sham up yet (still mostly sitting outside dungeons anyway). I'm sure that will be insane. What twink are you on? I'm lucky to get 2k stormstrike crits, and only after the buff; other spells are all in the sub 800 range besides instant lightning bolt. Not sure how you could be instantly deleted. Not saying it isn't OP but I must be doing something wrong if your twink is getting caked that hard.

My average SS is about 2.2k. However the way I play my enh is fish for procs (landslide+stormbringer at the same time). Ideally I'll have the crash lightning buff from hitting 2+ targets, then a super SS (landslide+stormbringer) followed by a regular SS, followed by an instant LB. This either kills or brings people to very low hp and puts them on the defensive.
As an anecdote, I've crit SS for 6k on plate (frost DK) selfbuffed, but that was with all my procs aligning.

You're playing exactly like you should vs an enh shaman. Good kiting is key, letting one connect to you means you're likely dead in 2-3 GCDs unless you're a DK/pala or have a major defensive. It's why I started farming FAPs and picked up tailoring for nets - to shore up my biggest weakness.

Seems accurate and some sound profession choices there. Enhance is still solvable, counter to Scion's account. Clearly only god tier classes can hang, but enhance isn't the end all.

Every class/specialization has a weakness. Enhancement Shaman just happens to be by far the strongest specialization in 70s bracket right now, and contending for the strongest that has ever been in this bracket.
One of the strongest bursts in the game (with RNG, most likely the strongest), the best self heals out of any none-healer, purge, good CC and a fantastic toolkit. He has a higher burst than my hunter in MM with Berserk.
