There are no viable alternatives for gear unless you roll a gnome for the 81 stamina trinket. Even then giving up the bladefist's breadth or PVP trinket would be silly.

Mostly the same gear for my Paladin.



What trinket would you recommend if you were human and didn't need the PVP trinket?



If you were a prot paladin, with the same socketed gear, would you still stack pure strength or would you balance in some crit or go full crit or what?
 
If I didn't have to wear the pvp trinket I would wear the Drake Fang Talisman hands down over anything for prot or ret.



For protection I would definitely gem everything strength. As for enchants that don't increase your strength and you have to choose +AP or Stamina I guess that's personal preference.



Item-level wise you would get more, on the bracers for example, out of 40 stamina than you would 50 AP as prot.



I like to play glass cannon set ups so I would get the attack power anyway.
 
What about ArP stacking? I made a chardev the other day with like 6k hp 1kap and 73%arp and I was wondering if its worth leveling to try it out.

I'm set up like this on my own warrior. The Badge of the Swarmguard trinket can be used with bladefists breadth at the same time. I gemmed for just enough armor pen to put me just over 100% armor pen when I use Badge of the swarmguard which is macro'd to my Bladestorm along with Bladefists breadth and Sweeping Strikes.



With the badge trinket up bladestorm almost always kills at least 8 people by the time its over if you cast it in a good spot. The brilliant thing about the badge trinket is it lasts a whole 30 seconds. You will probably not live that long, but when bladestorm is over, whirlwind to kill a few more, lol, Then you're going to be running around with 100% armor pen two shotting DK's is frost presense, its really funny. If you play a warrior twink GET YOUR HANDS on this trinket.



I'll have to make a video here soon. While I'm spinning I commonly see ticks from my bladestorm from 2.6k sometimes over 3k.
 
+1 for necroing. btw that swarm trinket is nice but it needs to build up to 6 stacks. also afaik all trinkets impose a 15 sec CD on your other trinket...so they would overlap but not be usable at exactly the same time. correct me if im wrong. if im right thought its ok since you can pop swarm, stack it to 6 then pop bladefists and lawlstorm with the full effects of both. the only bad thing about the swarm badge is that it gives a "chance" per melee hit to apply the effect. so hopefully it has a high proc rate.

Yes the trinket has to build to 6 stacks.



With the help of sweeping strikes you are going to make up to 8 weapon attacks in the first tick of bladestorm causing your trinket to hit 6 stacks immediately.



Edit: The trinket says "chance" but I've never seen it not proc on a weapon attack when I use it, I think I'm safe saying its 100% chance.

i know you said you use it at the same time...interesting...every trinket ive ever remembered using puts a 15sec cd on my other trinket.



necroing is bringing something back from the dead. before you posted the last post was from december 18, 2009. almost four months ago...clearly this isnt a hot topic any more.
 
People may not be posting in it but it is the most viewed thread aside from the sticky. Probably people searching google for 60 warrior info*.
