6.2 Heirlooms

Wowhead is not a Blizzard site. There have been many items on Wowhead that never made it into the game. For instance, the last heirloom caster ring was data mined and never was released. There have been epic gems that have been never released. Fishing poles... The list goes on and on...
In about sixteen hours the patch will be released. By then, we will have the "official" release notes. As for now, it appears only the two stamina/versatility trinkets and the spellpower plate heirloom pieces made it to release, unfortunately. I, for one, was looking forward to the caster and the extra secondary stat to add to my DPR.

The rings and trinkets have sources on wowhead, with exact quest names, and people have gotten it on PTR very recently, but whatever you dont listen to people that proves you wrong.

I believe those heirlooms will make it into the patch. I don't really like the way it's obtained, but I'm convinced. The DPR caster ring last time was a flaw on the ptr (I was told).

Those patch notes that don't mention it might have been rushed, or typed up after the rings. I could be wrong.

I do not know what your personal crusade is about proving me wrong is all about but you have failed again at doing so. If you had read my posts thoroughly you would have seen that I indicated the ring heirlooms are not in the patch notes and they are not. So in that point I am correct. I then provided you with the most up to date notes proving it. I also said that I had even looked forward to the heirloom rings. So, if you would please keep your personal comments to me to PMs it would be kindly appreciated.

Many of times items that are data mined on Wowhead do not necessarily make it into the game. Take the case of this heirloom ring that was suppose to come out at the the of WotLK. If you scroll down you can see the list of it's three counterparts.
Gleaming Seal of the Archmagus - Item - World of Warcraft

Below is the official patch release notes. If you go to the "collections" area, heirlooms are mentioned. The new rings are not mentioned and one of the trinkets are not mentioned. Only the new lightforge plate and the two new PvP trinkets. Now, that is not to say they will not be added in a later hotfix. I hope they are. I like heirlooms.

Don't be such a crybaby, I just suggested that these heirlooms would most likely make it live, and that you don't like when people argue with you. You proved the latter yourself.
