As a completionist, who doesn't have most pvp looms AND is in the middle of exam season, this terrifies me.

any idea if Battleworn Thrash Blade is still Unique-Equipped as ptr.wowhead says? and if so, does anyone know if we can keep both Battle-Hardened Thrash Blade (upgraded to lvl85 on Live) and Battleworn Thrash Blade (lvl 80)?

Sadly, looks like they share the same ID. I couldn't equip two of the level 60 items and when I tried to upgrade the one in my inventory, everything got upgraded (the heirloom tab, the one equipped, and the one in my bag).

EDIT: forgot to see if transmog or enchants affected this... not hopeful.

Almost all the heirlooms are accessible with the new tab (at least with subscription-like-account on PTR), with exception to Dread Pirate Ring, which is not listed anywhere in the tab (even after typing a name for the search function to find). Those with DPR, do you also see this?


Another observation with heirlooms from the heirloom tab: one can transmog the non-guild BoAs at 1 gold per item, though if you attempt to transmog a guild boa (helm, cloak, and leggings), the transmog price jumps to 30+ gold (all at level 20). This is not the case though if one attempts to mog a non-BoA helm/leg/cloak with their BoA counterparts (like transmog this to have this mog).

I feel like it's impossible to win the fishing derby, since the prizes have become cross-realmed. 3 winners for all connected servers, damn! I curse myself, for I didn't acquire dpr for all my characters while I could. I am still hoping they will upgrade all those heirloom rings and make them available in game, which are already in database.

Furthermore, we cannot transmog heirloom leggings? I'm sad... :'(

Can you please confirm if either of you guys have the DPR ring on live and copied this character across? The Garrosh BoAs aren't in the UI to start with, but they show up when you log in with a character that has them. (They are useless to F2P though, as you need to be level 90 to equip. I tried to equip on level 1 and 20: no go.)

The scaling on PTR might be fixed in a later build. Report as a bug EVERYONE!

EDIT: the transmog price on guild BoAs might relate to their sale price (the other BoAs can't be sold). If the guild BoAs are brought in line with the others (and can't be sold) the transmog price might be the same (i.e. 1g). Once again, report this as bug and it might be fixed in a later build.

DPR does get added to the tab once you log on a toon that has it. Goes up to lvl 80 and doesn't seem to have any upgrades.
GFed things don't appear in toybox/loom tab for those who don't have the items so it MIGHT mean that DPR is going to be GFed.

Confirming it, i copied my rogue over (he has DPR) and i was able to create DPR on another toon.

Good news, thanks for confirming this.

Maybe with the new rings there will be changes for DPR? More likely just something Blizzard missed for this build.

If you buy game time on your P2P account, make a guild on AP and have everyone buy game time also and join the guild also, and then reroll your 20s to be on that paid account, then when the paid time lapsed, yes your 20s would still be in the guild and can use guild comms. Seems actually worth it, if you ask me.

Haven't had a chance to try it, but there are some buffs/nerfs that affects F2Ps.

e.g.

Shield Slam: Slam the target with your shield, causing [(Attack power *0.3050.366 * 1 * 1 * (1 + $versadmg))] damage and generating 20 Rage. Critical strikes with Shield Slam cause your next Heroic Strike to cost no Rage and be a critical strike.

Thunder Clap: Blasts all enemies within 8 yards for (84%117.6% of Attack power) damage and reduces their movement speed by 50% for 6 sec.

I'm 99% sure these are the mmochamp posted changes for 6.1, all of which are just the official tooltip updates for changes that are already live.

This vendor on the PTR sells rings, neck and back that are almost iLvl 600 that have no level requirement. I got to over 10000 hp and 411 sp off these 4 items at level 20. He also has free enchant scrolls. Might need to organize something on the PTR to take advantage of this sillyness.
