6,1 PTR Observations for F2P: Post Here

Hopefully they fix the draenei horns that go missing from the nameplate and the character if you zoom out too far.


Also, i have like 8 toons on ptr with a bunch of boas, ill let you guys know the deal after i come back from school.... Assuming ptr is on :D

Emphasis mine. It's going to be a really sad day if it turns out that the heirloom tab only applies to heirlooms purchased post 6.1. I just can't see how they can do that though, with the millions of subscribers who already have heirlooms. We won't know for sure until they open up the transfer character ability and we can test it for ourselves.

It's quite buggy for me. I've lost count of the number of wipes on the load screen boss. Have you looked at the battle.net forums? I've seen a few posts about how to fix some things, maybe you will get lucky there.

There are still some things that clearly need fixed: the tooltips are wrong for lots of items and it doesn't show you items that you already know, so easy to by duplicates (and you can't refund them). So it's the usual "thinhs will change before it goes live" story.

The XP just off the couple armor items I had was crazy. I killed four mobs and dinged. Re-rolling is going to be super quick if they are available. The scaling is a bit odd, I got to level 4 before I got bored and they still weren't giving stats, maybe a tooltip issue?

I didn't notice that, I thought the female Draenei looked pretty good. But I'm not looking at the horns....

I did notice the female humans eyes have changed color. There was one that looked red on my system. I guess that's to keep the female human warlock RPers happy.

    Holy Insight: Increases the effectiveness of all your healing by 25%, your Word of Glory by 20%.


    Retribution
    • Crusader Strike: An instant strike that causes 120% Physical damage. (Buffed from 100%)
      Templar's Verdict: A powerful weapon strike that deals 240% Physical damage. (Buffed from 200%)
      Judgment: Causes (57.6% of Spell power + 69.6% of Attack power) Holy damage and generates 1 Holy Power Requires an active Seal to cast.

    Honestly, there aren't too many Holy Pallies out there and with this, there will probably be even less. Ret is becoming way better than it already is, and with the awful amount of healing that holy pallies do right now, you're probably going to be more of an asset to your team as ret or prot in 6.1

    Personally, I've tried to play holy, but with the amount of hardcasting that you have to do, it sometimes just isn't enough, WoG isn't even worth having on your toolbar tbh. The buff to holy insight is nice, but I highly doubt that it will make a huge diference. We'll see what happens, but I think this might be the nail in the coffin for holy.

So I bring news. I was able to successfully copy Kincaide and Littletiger to the PTR. I couldn't log in with Kincaide, it crashed after a half second, but that might have been because she was at the Darkmoon Faire. I logged in with Littletiger though, and I was able to see in the BoA tab all of Kincaide's BoAs (because she had logged in, even for an instant) and Littletiger's BoA as well. It was not necessary to click on it to add it, it got added simply by being in the character's inventory. Furthermore the copy that the character had was untouched, still equipped with mog and enchant. Further Furthermore, the simple 1-80 heirlooms I have, purchased from DMF, appeared in the BoA tab as the level 1-85 version, or "1 upgrade" version.

So everything with the BoA tab appears to be everything we had hoped it would be. The only thing left to see is if trials have access to the tab in live, but I cannot see any reason why they would not, as trials earned their heirlooms the same as any other player.

Good news all around IMO.

Not sure if this is common knowledge now or not but from the heirloom tab you can create as many of that heirloom as you want regardless of how many you actually have.
For example: I only have 1 Discerning Eye of the Beast but I am able to create an infinite number of them and this goes for every item in your heirloom tab.
Also it looks like they removed Burnished Warden Staff? I can't seem to find it in my bags/bank/heirloom tab.

thats rigth, as same as any other player! we deserve tab too!

Yeah, i fixed it muself, deleted the WTF, Chace and Interface. It fixed everything!
