Prot paladins spells are capped but not their melee abilities so to make sure your auto attacks/crusader strikes don't miss you'll need the full 11 hit. up to you because AS/hammer of jutice/exo's are all capped when you spec prot. I think judgments are still considered melee abilities but I can't remember when the last time I procced crusader from judgment was.
Stam is pretty good as prot because of how the vengeance mechanic works. Just get all your hit pieces and play around with it, I sometimes use the BOA ripped sandstorm cloak with +1 hit. Sometimes I'll even go with +5 hit to boots even though it's not ideal for mobility (our mobility sucks anyway so I don't usually notice if it sucks a little more). I also love using the following 2 macros for max DPS:
Casts your avengers shield then equips 2 hander for massive Crudader strikes
/cast avengers shield
/equip bloodied arcanite reaper
You'll need to use a second macro when your Avengers shield is off CD
/equip (name of main hand weapon)
/equip (name of shield)
Then hit macro 1 again and your back to big crits with a 2 hander, after macro 2 there is a global cool down so the timing takes some practice.
