THIS TOURNAMENT WILL CONSIST OF THE FIRST 16 TEAMS TO SIGN UP AND WILL TAKE PLACE IN A DOUBLE ELIMINATION FORMAT

Tournament Syllabus:

*Tournament begins in 5.2 (Exact date will be decided).

*Sign-up Deadline is in 5.2 (Exact date will be decided).

*You may change anything you want regarding your team as long as it is before the *Blank* deadline.

*Maximum Class Limit Of (1) Per Team.

*Maximum Healing Spec Limit of (1) Per Team.

*Maximum Classes That Have The Ability to Heal Per Team: (2).

*Protection Paladins can only participate if a Spriest, Guardian and Elemental/Enhance Shaman is on the team.

*Teams can't have a main spec healer if a Protection Paladin is on the team.

*Protection Paladins and Rogues cannot be on the same team.

*Ferals are BANNED.

*Water Shield is BANNED for Elemental/Enhancement.

*Rejuvenation is BANNED for balance druids.

*GFed gear is BANNED.

*Being its a double elimination format each team will have 2 shots at winning the tournament.

*Best of 5's will consist of:
(1) Blade's Edge Arena
(1) Ruins of Lorderon
(1) Dalaran Sewers
(2) Nagrand Arena

*Failure to appear for the tournament will result in your team losing by default and the opposing team will advance to the next round.

*Disconnects count as losses past 30 seconds.

*To register your team please have your team leader post below using the following format:

f2ps can queue for arena war games cross-server now?
 
no, in order for that to work, every team in the tournament would need a p2p member - otherwise, queuing for cross-realm wargames would not be possible. in the case of no P2P level 20 being available to play on a team, another way to do this would be for teams to queue with 5 players (5v5) and to borrow another 20-24 P2P player on their chosen realm (with a 5th player in the group(s) serving as filler for the queue).

unfortunately, we tried both of these methods around ~1 year ago, because we wanted to have an arena tournament similar to this, and they do not actually work - the queue will never pop. i haven't played in a long time, so it's possible that something in F2P has changed since then. i would suggest trying both of these methods yourself (since you clearly have access to more than one P2P level 20 account) and posting documentation of your results here.
 
Nah you can do 5 vs 5, as a group of 4, have a p2p from one server be leader on both teams, and then they would just not enter the match only the team of 3 enters

pretty sure it works now and was done a few months ago

sweet. we should do x-realm AB premades too, all you would need is 3 p2p on each side, even less if a bunch of the players were from one realm like AP (queuing regular not wargames)
