3.3 10-19 changes

those changes are cool for the mana stuff, it means more healing out of casters and more damage out of caster since they go OOM more slowly.



besides that whoever says hunters are OP really doesn'T know its class, there are a few classes that if well played can beat us up. but it would be stupid for blizzard to remove the hunters as bets dps class, each class was designed to take on a certain role and the hunter does a great job at what it does, burst damage that is. but burst damage is not all in the gulch these days !



the shammy buff will be cool even at higher levels, being able to AOE at 80 while having my flametongue totem out will be cool as hell !

You're completely correct I should learn to shiv poi.... I should learn to use Crippling poi.... When I get close to you I should dismant..... When I need to get to you quickly I should Shadow Ste....

I have a hunter and will say they are stupid. The only time I'll lose is if I get gang raped with slows, I let a warrior roam around to charge/spamstring me, or it's another hunter.

Racials



* Berserking now also increase your casting speed.
Nice troll buff. Maybe we'll see more troll casters. :)



Pets



* Demoralizing Screech: The attack power reduction from this ability has been increased by 40%, equaling the maximum possible attack power reduction from the abilities of other classes.

* Venom Web Spray: Range increased from 20 yards to 30 yards.

* Web: Range increased from 20 yards to 30 yards.

* Cower: Redesigned. This ability no longer affects threat, and instead reduces damage taken by the pet by 40% for 6 seconds with a 45-second cooldown. While cowering, the pet’s movement speed is 50% of normal speed. Cower now only has a single rank and is available at pet level 20.
19 hunters for sure didn't need the web buff, but at least they won't get cower.



Shaman



* Earth's Grasp now also reduces the cooldown of Stoneclow and Earthbind Totem by 15/30%.
More shaman buffs. A quicker earthbind never hurt anyone. Oh wait, it does. :p
 
I guess berserking affecting casting isn't new and only a tooltip change. Fixing it.
 
according to the patch notes the proc rate on unholy is unchanged. so, based on some dudes study off wowhead:



Unholy is not a PPM enchant, it uses a chance on hit % formula that scales with weapon speed.



this enchant won't proc as often as fiery does on 1h weapons, so for rogues duel fiery is probably going to stay at the top, because a small increase in dmg per proc and the curse effect probably isnt worth it procing much less. although i could see this replacing fiery on 2h, because of the way it procs it will be closer to fiery's proc rate on slower weapons .



in spite of that, the curse effect decreases white damage given by 15, thats like half in a lot of cases (1h melee swings, ranged attacks) so in arenas or on defense this could also be useful to decrease the damage being given, in addition to the burst.

hmm % hit might make more sense as Ive seen this proc all over the place. Its super bursty though which is always nice.
 
Have some glyph changes/additions. I'm glad they finally fixed the SW:p glyph.

shaman's just keep getting buffed qq. Druids get nerfed with the new rejuv glyph as the old one was better.
 
Rank1 frostbolt retro fitted?

I think this will be good all around for casters. I haven't been on PTR so I can't say how much the spells are being reduced or if they are only referring to those people who are at higher levels who are forced to pay the highest rank mana cost for a lower rank spell. so could the rank 1 frostbolt technique be making a comeback? I lol'd at web range being increased, as if we needed it.
 
The new rejuv glyph is ... interesting. Unless its being given a large coefficient im not crazy about it. Sure it'll be fun but there isnt enough haste knocking about to make it worth it, not for the 60 odd spell power you'd need to give up to get a decent amount of haste. Ah well, i spose its back to cheap as chips wrathspam then.

It has a different name, so I would assume a different glyph. Normal rejuv glyph is only good for FCs imo though.
 
many buffs hapenning... i see hunters pet will be all over the place now though... i mean seeing how the spider gets the boost everyone will be forgetting about the ravager uber leetness or the scorpions leetness as well... sucks to be a hunter with only 1 choice... for my part i like to stun and have max damage, so its all about the ravager to me !



by the way, well played shaman kicks hunters around, well played rogues kicks hunters around, and well played warlock kicks hunters around. but go ahead people and continue to deny yourself any credits. for my part, glory last forever when i do the right thing !
