29s Wargame - WSG 10 v 10

So lots of talk about the activity of 29s and the un-necessity of f2ps, lets organize some 29 wargames then... The best possible option that comes to mind is for all the older 29s to band together vs a team ( pizza challenged anyone, and i know of atleast 1 other team willing to organize). But if for some reason the older 29s cannot actually organize their team together, this would be a "semi" open premade, taking players registered but ppl in-game with past-experience will take priority over randoms of the same role if it is filled.

This is your time to prove that 29s are very much alive competitively and have been throughout mop. By ignoring this message every 29 who has posted any sort of "we don't need f2ps to get pops" has officially become a pussy. Stepup.

Anyways, one point I made is that 28/29's can queue Gilneas in addition to queuing random (or your favorite bg if you don't need bonus honor). Only 28/29 eligible for Gilneas so it's by definition free of f2p, and it's only a 10v10 so should get decent random pops.

I always follow this strategy when queuing.

I'm relatively new to twinking, having only been involved since back in June this year, but I'd love to put together a 10-man team on my server, and meet some folks in some Wargames. Now that my Main has hit 100, I can ease up on that grind and spend more time again with my 29's.

I know of some basic 'rules' like not having more than 2 of a class, but would like to learn more about what's expected for a team. Maybe someone can point me to a relevant thread, thank you very much! I definitely agree with the idea that a team should work toward the BG's objectives, rather than GY/HK farming. I've seen a lot of that lately and its just bad sportsmanship. But when I try to say something about it in a BG, the asshats put me down and act like there's nothing wrong with it.

I myself play mostly the classes I love, which is pretty much Paladin and Rogue. But I haven't touched my Rogues since WoD hit, ugh. I'm gonna get one of 'em out and dust him off this weekend I believe.

Just because he is generally wrong in my opinion, doesn't make him wrong about this.

Very simply, 29s pay their sub fees, have access to better gear, enchants, and glyphs, and have been playing this bracket for years. ... You don't like being killed? Pay for the game, make 29s, and get on our level.

That's what I did. Always cancel right away so you can save money if you don't want to be subbed at the end of the month.
