@ 29s: Let's add a 4th night!

As Daýman has suggested. With the recent influx of new 29s and longer game nights (last night's dying down about 3 AM EST), I think there's more than enough interest to reinstate a fourth night.



Game nights are currently: Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday starting around 9 PM EST.



I'd like to know what everyone thinks the best fourth night would be, and we'll go from there.

When we go to more nights, we invariably push back the queue time on current game nights. I realize this isn't an issue for you, but for East coasters it sucks.

If I scheduled a regular arena night for dragonmaw twinks using our current guild base would you join in? We did a successful one awhile back and had great fun queing up down at stv. We did it primarily for some cc, kiting, teamwork practice using 5 v 5 set ups as if we had a D/O team but I would love to see some hardcore 2's, 3's and 5's going regularly.

While I support Saturday, Shaket makes a point that 29s really need to consider, in the context that 3 days a week is the magic equilibrium that many players will attend. Once you surpass 3 days, most players in my experience will revert to choosing two nights a week. Give or take, we're talking about a 50% hit on nightly attendance for many reasons, including crossover with other brackets.



To be clear, growth is great, and if 29s are ready to move to 4 nights, go for it. But I think controlled growth is wise, and it would help to train up some greenies in the fashion that Daydra and others mention. The 29 bracket has a higher average skillbase than most brackets, and with the arrival of a lot of new players, the gap of disparity needs some mending. Without this, going to four days may exacerbate disparities instead of assist them.
